Nah, I don't game on PC anymore. I just want something faster than my 8 year old Dell I'm rocking right now. I have a mic coming tho should be here soon.

I pretty much buy what I want when I want it, so its always hard for me to figure out what to spend on when I get money like this. I've just been putting off getting a new PC.... I'm lazy like that.

What about video game consoles or video games? I'm getting a PS2 in the mail, but I'm going to go out and buy some of the PS2 games that I missed. Want to try and get a GameBoy Advance/Color as well.

I just recently picked up a 3rd PS2 or I'd buy another one.

I'd skip the whole desktop PC thing altogether and just splurge on a semi-high performance laptop...you can get a laptop with an intel core i5 2ghz processor, 4gb of ram, 500gb hd and a 256mb dedicated video card for around $700, so you could even game on it if need be....Also I find myself rarely using my desktop computer that was twice what my laptop cost and I always use my laptop because portability and convenience is key.

I thought about doing that.... I just might now too. You hook it up to a monitor or TV at home?

I don't game on the computer so I don't need a big fancy monitor. I just browse the internet, and download movies. And I also have a small bedroom, but I have an 18.5" monitor. Only paid $100.00 for it, but it gets what I needed done, and it does it well. I'm thinking about picking up another one of these and either hook my console up to one, or have it so I can watch movies on one, and still browse the net on the other.

I was just recently given a 15" LCD monitor for free I'd like to set up for that purpose. I need to get a converter box tho first.

I'd like to have like a 22" or bigger for my new pc or laptop I buy.


I'm going to start shopping around tonight while at work we get pretty decent employee discounts with a lot of top notch companies so I'll take a look at those too.

Oh, I'll be getting one of those any way when it launches, I have other money set aside for that.

This is just unexpected money I want to blow. People where I work always bitch about how the company don't take care of us and I quite frankly don't expect much from them besides a job to come too. When I don't get anything from them I don't really care, but when I do I usually splurge on some nice shit for myself and my family.

At Christmas they gave everyone a 500$ bonus for a gift and 95% of the people complained because it was only 500$. I looked at as they didn't have to give any of us shit but I'm glad they did. I used mine for my wife and son and got them a few extra things for the holiday.



I might get an android phone or an iPhone 4 to replace my 3g.... I know work has some good discounts for my carrier.

I bought my 22 inch HD Flat Screen Monitor, with built in VGA/HDMI/Component/Composite input for $135. It also has a coaxial input. It's perfect. I can view the internet, and quickly switch over to television, or my XBOX 360.
