My 3DS is dead.

FACK YOU Waterbottle!

Well I had a Badminton thingy. and well my water bottle was in my bag as well as my 3DS was.

So I came home with a smile. It vanished after I opened the pouch my 3DS was in.

I began to cy since it was on(to count my steps I made) and I opened the thing. The upper screen did not work. >.<

me turned it off, asked my father. He tried everything he could because it was wet when it was on! Well after drying it.(He knows what he was doing there) he turned it on. All hope is lost for me. Its dead. FUUUU I cry again. :unsure:

Well no traces of water...

I am brining it to my game store in hope they don´t find anything! ^^

I am screwed, I did put about 650€ in it with games included I HAVE 9 GAMES.

THE RELEASE OF SELDA OOT IS NEARING AND I DON´T HAVE MY 3DS ANYMORE :glare:

Damn man I hope you understand my problem I did cry for 1 hour because of the time I did put in this device.

Damn I need my DSi XL with some good games. Could someone recommend me one I could play for a while?

You may want to try throwing it in a bag of rice. Or it may be too late, who knows.

Generally though, when you get water on/in your electronics, it's a good idea to put it in rice ASAP. The rice absorbs the water. My friend did that with his phone when he was thrown into a pool with it and it still worked after that.

When I was like 8 I jumped in a pool with my GBA SP in my pocket. Unfortunately the battery wouldn't hold a charge and it died :(

Hmmm @ Tigris: you did not read it to well :P

@ Guild I could consider. but its to late; The green notification light is on when it turns on while the menu said(before it stopped working) that there was nothing.

But well pfff this is a lesson for me, never take electronic with you while liquids are near it. But that Water Bottle is new and trusted since this has never happened before.

@Devin; yeah I hate the Z for no reason lol.

Well, 99% of all warranties do not cover water damage.

I know it..

In all seriousness, do what Guild said although if you turned it on the electricity could have killed it. Try contacting your store, and lastly Nintendo in order to ask for a replacement. They're pretty nice about those.
