Henry Hatsworth for DS extremely overrated

How did this game get a metacritic average of 82 ? Lack of checkpoints make this this game absolutely unplayable.

EDIT: Nice try, golf clap

Henry Hatsworth is the best platformer on the DS.

You just suck at the game.

But all that time spent grinding and plodding along just ends up flushed down the toilet with one false move. It's infuriating. Even Mighty Switch Force has checkpoints with those tiny stages. Why does the game bother shoveling out extra lifes if all your progress in a level is simply lost if you die?

I think it's an oversight, the game is tough but not overly challenging, but even Ninja Gaiden had decent checkpoints. But apparently some people here are ultra supergamers that I'M SURE have beaten this game without ever dying.

Some people have beaten Battletoads without ever dying.

Battletoads is largely a skill based game that isn't plodding at all that has checkpoints to help replay difficult portions to advance your own skill. This is not comparable to Henry Hatsworth. Also, Battletoads is a VERY difficult game, so what's your point ? My point is, Henry Hatsworth is not an exceedingly difficult game. However, it's very possible to die. When you die, you have to start the very long stage over again from the start. This is extremely tedious. I have absolutely no interest in playing a game that forces you to play an entire stage over again after grinding for jewels. Even just skipping over grinding, the game is slow paced.
