Biden vs Ryan most lopsided debate of all time

I wish I kept count of how many times Paul Ryan took a sip from his glass, he made 1 glass of water last 2 hours. That was a crippling overcompensation on Biden's part. I don't care if you're Dem or Repub, that was an absolute beatdown. Sorry for being partisan

Okay, I see. I don't watch TV, so that's why I asked.

Of course, this was much closer to a tie than it was with Obama/Romney in their debate.

After reading your comment, I went to see the results of the CNN survey and a CBS one, and I don't know what the FUCK debate those people were watching. This was an absolute evisceration. I honestly don't see how anyone could watch this debate thinking it was ANYTHING but a Biden victory.

Easy. Drugs, brainwashed as a child, force, but most likely, they were rich. Or insane. Rich and insane. All?

I think Ryan's constant water drinking was a sign to the audience to take a shot of their favorite alcoholic beverage!

@yuyuyup: you see it like that because you're a hardcore partisan--look up Pauline Kael's famous quote about not knowing anyone who voted for Nixon--that's *you*.

The fact that you think it's mass delusion *should* probably tell you something...(it won't, but it should).

And for the record: I'm a registered independent, but calling your political opponents delusional is a bit over-the-top.

(Also: Biden learned *nothing* from Al Gore's infamous smirk-fest in 2000, which is pretty amazing, when you think about it--people, outside of partisans, don't like it when people disrespect one another in debates. It's how it is and instead of going for a real win, he chose red meat which, as a strategy, doesn't make a great deal of sense when partisans are the last people you need to convince, cause they are not going to vote Romney in a million years.)

(Also 2: I don't even care for Romney, but stuff like this is, in no way, helping Obama with anyone that isn't already in their camp.)

Al Gore got called out for sighing, not smirking. Romney was smirking during the previous debate, and Ryan was smirking during this debate. Current polls suggest pretty much everyone is decided which side they support, and neither side is really campaigning toward the center. Unless you count Romney's strategy of saying whatever he thinks is currently viable, only to have his campaign refute what he said after he said it.

You should maybe hire beta/alpha testers to playtest your game while you continue to update the port, but that's up to you.

I have been working on BLOOD for the Wii for a few weeks but that was 2 years ago until I noticed that it would randomly crash out of a sudden at some point and I never managed to find the origin of the bug.

@nitr8, Something like an USB Gecko would be extremely helpful for debugging. Not sure if there might be an IDA plugin which can do this wirelessly.
  • nitr8 @ nitr8:
That also was the reason why I never released it to the public. Which btw. is a shame because the game is basically "complete" and ready for release
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@nitr8, If you consider open-sourcing this, then I'm sure somebody could point out the bugs for you in the repository, such as walking through step-by-step on what it's doing.
  • nitr8 @ nitr8:
I have 2 USB Gecko's. I'm using one for debug printout messages while I use the second one for realtime debugging within Eclipse where I make changes to the code

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@nitr8, Ah good, having two is always handy.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Not sure why you'd want to, but it's a good thing at least.
  • nitr8 @ nitr8:
You need two if you want realtime-debugging AND debug printout at the same time. The problem is that GDB (the GNU debugger) needs a connection over a serial port while the other one also needs a connection over a serial port. You cannot send debugging commands and printout messages over the same port. It just wouldn't work. I've tested this.

I should probably see if I can run this natively on a PC using the original commits where I pulled the code from. Basically the repository is the same but the commits were different when it comes to the main game code and the engine overlay...

BTW: I saw you mentioned me in the link to the ROTT wall bug where a moving wall exits the game map.

  • nitr8 @ nitr8:
The original developers put an image into the code which would be shown once this bug happens. It's the one you see at the end of the video and it's also the same image I'm using as an avatar.

Anyway, I hope BLOOD will finally make it's way onto the Wii. I ported DOOM, HERETIC, HEXEN, STRIFE, ROTT and HEXEN II before years ago. I simply cannot imagine that it's too hard to get the game
    running stable.
