Girlfriend problems :\

Okay amm.. im 15 , and im kinda new to the all girlfriend thinganyway I just got a girl who I like and she likes me , were un-officialy boyfriend and girlfriend , but we sat together for a long time huging each other.

anyway.. I don't really know what to do , except the obvious of dating her and i'd like some tips. A friend of mine told me that I shouldn't show my love to her too much and spoil her.. I should be a more interesting person or she'll be bored of me and dump me eventually - Could you(the internet guyz) tell me if I should do listen to him bout it?

AND DONT FORGET besides the question to add some tips =P

I really do appriciate your help.

Amen to that.

I was like you, when I was 13. Getting my first emotions, the first real girlfriend, falling deeply in love, all that. Your friend is right, DO NOT show her all your feelings, at least not for a while. Stick with hugging and kissing and it will last long. I assume this is your first relationship, so this is good. Your intentions are pure, which will make the relationship that much better. Try to go out at least once a week. Text/call each other often. I slowly went to building a sexual relationship but it took almost 8 months, lol. Nonetheless, I broke up with that girl last year, when I was 17. I lasted 4 years with that girl. I hope you last even longer with yours.

Lol.

You know what's funny? High school relationships. Why? Because they bring all this unnecessary drama and never last to become anything important.

My advice: Find a smart chick in college.

Lets see..Do you or your girlfriend have a dog or something? I remember a two or three years back I was with my first girlfriend and we always hang out with her dog and so..And we texted each other everyday.. Dont know if this helps but hope so :)

Oh you kiddies today :)

My advice: Don't be a bitch. Chicks take advantage of guys in no time flat. And then you have their mood swings...

Ever hear that phrase "All chicks are crazy"? It is true. Spend some time with this girl, try to build a healthy relationship and all that but do not, lets say, get a part time job and blow all your money weekly on this girl.

So many wasted teen years :(

See this? This is the kind of advice you should steer clear of.

Or someone else has clearly just had the wrong girlfriends.

I can see clearly now the rain has gone! :P

Ok. Take this from a female perspective:

1. When she tells you something, pay attention... as in REALLY pay attention. Don't just nod and go "That's nice." and move on to another topic. if she tells you something, offer a little insight.

2. True. Don't be boring. No, she won't dump you if you're boring but she'll like you more if you surprise her every now and then. Doesn't have to be something superspecial like a big dinner out or a humongous bunch of flowers. Nah. Compliment her once in a while: tell her her hair looks nice or she looks great in that shirt, send her a sweet email with some song or something... I dunno. That tactic works for me.

3. And for crying out loud, don't look at other girls when you're together. Show her you only have eyes for her.

4. Don't be too suffocating. Don't demand for her time, don't text her every ten minutes... let her do her own thing. Remember, she has a life outside you. She has friends, her own plans... not everything has to include you.

5. Be yourself. Yes, it's cliche. Yes, it's cheesy... but it's true. Don't try to be the cool guy, don't try to be a jock or the perfect guy. Just act normal.

I know that's a lot of don'ts but... that's all that's coming to my head now. XD;;
Hope it helps!

Transparently.

First of all, get some sex :creep:

Seriously though, your friend has a point. Do what he says, and don't forget: DON'T CHANGE. She loves you for who you are. For instance, if she thinks you're too messy, and wants you to change, well don't. She'll get bored of you if you keep submitting to her. No shit.

Remember, you wanna include her in your exciting life. You're not trying to make your life exciting by revolving it around her. You're a man, and she needs to see that. For instance, don't feel guilty if you can't make a date this Friday because you planned something else with your mates. Tell her you can't make it, and enjoy time with your mates.

Furthermore, have a damn social life. If your life revolves around your girl friend and gaming/studies/whatever, you know you're messed. Get hooked up with some friends and chill with them. It gives her time off to do her own thing too. Girls love space. Give them space and freedom, they'll love you for that.

All the best man, and here's to a fruitful relationship :grog:

well.. We have a group we hang out with , so I met her in this group and we basicly got together through that group.
So it works great =)

Becoming a interesting person is both easy and hard.
Try a sport not very famous with crazy rules, or follow a strange band.
Not be always at home with videogames.
Be a heretic.
But control yourself.
If anyone's wondering, I've made a personal decision to not date until college. I'm not seeing the point of having some fake and pukey relationship with some purely on the basis of "why the hell not?" I'm already happy as I am and there's nothing in my life that would be better by having some nagging girlfriend storming up fake drama and whining better. Not to mention I'm also an immense douchebag and doubt I could put up with all the crap without saying something like "wow, you're boring" or "you're really a gigantic douchebag with people".
you can pull this one through? I always want to, but fail <_<

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
