Done with school!

So it's over.
Finished freshman year.
It may or may not be a long blog, but I'm gonna separate the year into songs that I was into at that time in the year.
Let's kick it off then, shall we?

First week of school I texted up a couple of my friends I met over the summer to hang.
Little did I know we'd grow to be some of the closest friends I've ever had.
Went to a party once and they were blasting this song.
We decided it was the best song ever.
In this era we had the me having sex with someone who had a boyfriend.
Also had the "Hide yo shit!" incident when we got caught drinking in the dorms.
175 bucks down the drain.
Ooooooh yeah.
This era consisted of happy Bammer followed by depressed Bammer.
All in all, it was a good start to the year.

Thus started the snow.
I went home once and my friend introduced me to dubstep.
Got hooked quite quickly.
This was a relatively chill era.
Partied a bit, drank a lot, whatever.
Middle of this era I grew the balls to ask to hang with this one girl.
Then came the end of the era with kinda realizing it may or may not have been a good idea to get involved with this girl.

New era of dubstep.
Skrillex now rules my playlists.
For good reason.
Beginning of this era left off where I was with thinking perhaps this girl isn't the best.
Then one magical (weekday) evening I decided to stay the night at her place.
The next day happened to be a snow day.
That evening I went to my friend's dorm to have a mini party.
Walked a girl back to her room, ended up making out with her.
It was pretty much the best thing ever.
Though I kinda freaked out.
I mean, I spent the night at one girl's room then the day later I made out with another...
Whatever, dude.
A weekish later we started going out.
First Valentines Day with a girlfriend.
Felt good, man.
Anyway we ended up breaking up after like 2 weeks.
Ehh.
Other highlight was smoking weed for the first time.
That was... interesting.
I'd do it again, but not like every day.
Era ended with more parties and an equal amount of alcohol.

Bit of deadmau5 to break the dubstep eras.
Kinda an uneventful era.
Actually... no... there was this one party we went to in particular.
Danced with a random girl at a party.
It was... an experience.
That's about all I've gotta say about that.

This is the final era.
Last couple of weeks of school I had discovered this song kinda on accident.
Kinda a chill last couple of weekends.
Well, cept for that concert.
Then when we killed Osama our school had a bit of a riot.
We're number 6 on the list.
It was certainly fun.
Then finals week came, studied like a mother fucker.
Got an A, few B's, and best have gotten a C to finish off the year.

So that was my freshman year of college.
Filled with good friends, good times, a few bad times, and plenty of alcohol.
Can't wait to go back.
Peace!

Sounds nice dude.
How did the whole getting caught thing work out? Was your RA passing by or something?

On the whole Marijuana thing I'd say the same. I tripped balls when I took my first hit on a Grav. Bong. Lots of coughing, a vomit feeling, and then one of the most interesting nights of my life. Although I don't think I'll be doing it again if I get the opportunity comes since I'll be starting a program which requires a drug test really soon....

It sounds like you had a really good first year experience. A lot better than some friends of mine at least. What about classes? What were they? Did you enjoy them? Anything interesting about them or happen with them?

I hate most of your music except the first song which I haven't heard before..

Miss-leading topic, i thought that you were done with high school and not going to collage or dropping out of collage which i was about to give a lecture on cause i'm drunk. As it seems or i may have read wrong, you're continuing collage, good for you. Study a lot and drink a lot. Don't fuck it up.

Apparently somebody called on us.
(I mean, we were being loud as fuuuuuuuck)
But yeah, they knocked on the door, I looked out the peep hole and yelled "Hide your shit!"
(On the report they wrote I said "Hide yo shit!")
(I was quite drunk by that point)
Anyway, yeah, that was that.

I smoked on three separate occasions on that same day.
First time I didn't feel anything.
Second time I was quiiiiite high.
I went to a liquor store to buy my friend some cigarettes.
Couldn't pronounce Marlboro.
Third time was insanely late at nite, so I just chilled and listened to music.
I won't smoke until I have job though, since it may require a drug test.

Certainly a good year though.
Took mostly gen eds my first year.
Don't have as good of a GPA as I want, but that has a lot to do with the fact that Calculus kicked my ass, and I won't have to take it next year.
(hopefully)
So I should be able to bump it up next year.
Also I'll be taking some more computer classes which should be fun since it's what I like doing.

Finally got an appointment with an ENT, but it's not for another month. It's already been 4- days of loud ringing in my left ear, substantial pain on left side of my neck and left side on the back of my head. Doctors here at the regular clinic put me on a couple different meds for a month that did absolutely nothing, then they told me there's nothing more they can do for me despite being in pain and my ear sounding like im underwater and ringing.
  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
Then three chiropractor appointments which also didn't help at all so i didn't go to the 4th. Been trying to get ahold of this ENT clinic out of town for a week and finally got an appointment set up. But its not til the 17th of July so I have to suffer all this shit for nearly another month.
  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
I hope relief from all of this is on the way because I've felt so defeated and severaly lacking in sleep because of the pain and ringing.

  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
@Psionic Roshambo No idea. Clinic put me on Prednisose for 5 days, then Augmentin for 10 days, then Prednisone for another 15 days. When that was done and there was absolutely no change, I went to the chiropractor. Had three appointments where he cracked my neck and spine. No change so i didn't go back to the 4th appointment.

Sounds like scheduling an appt with the ENT was the best decision. I have many of those symptions. The pain in neck and back of head, ringing in the ear, being very tired all the time, dizzyness, etc.

@SylverReZ Significant pain in my neck, shoulder, and back of my head. Loud ringing in my ear and sounds like I have an ear plug in. Excessive tiredness. Slightly blurred vision.

Been going on for 40 days. Regular doctors and chiropractor did not help. ENT appointment isn't for another 27 days. I hope I live that long.
