3DS SSF4 Rant

So I thought I'd get in a few quick online matches today and every singal one of my opponents quits in the middle of the match because they are losing. Why the fuck even play the game online if your going to get pissed and quit if your losing? Does this happen to any one else? If it does how does it make you feel?

Try losing the first match and then win round 2 and 3 (if it works like that, i wouldn't know but it's bluffing)

I tried that my last match up and the guy quit halfway through round 3.

I shouldn't say halfway... more like I needed one hit and he backed off and he quit.

This is why I stopped online gaming for awhile.

I have been playing online quite a lot (well, most of my time playing the game. I have it for only 3 days or so) and haven't actually seen any rage quitters. Only a few spammers, but they weren't too bad.

That wasn't much of a rant, it was more of a complaint...:unsure:

Anyway, I don't have the game [yet], but I probably won't [and don't] come across this problem because I'm more of a single-player or same console multiplayer person, though I do understand your frustration, as it has happened to me many times in the past in other online games.

do you play in lite mode with a charge character like guile? without having to charge it makes guile even more op than he already was lol.

Well it happens to a lot of games T_T
Luckly, I have never met a person that disconnects because they are losing in SSF4

but on mario kart DS They always disconnect me because I kick their butts hard!! :glare: ... and then they quit right before I can finish.

I remember playing tetris DS online against some japanese tetrophile. He won 10 times in a row and I kept on rematching, but when I beat him the 11th time, he rage-quitted immediately.

Yep, that's online gaming for ya.

No I don't play Guile and no I don't spam Fireballs thats just cheap. Hell ask Eighteen I play her whenever I can cause she's pretty good and can give me a good challenge. Yeah thi is not really a rant but complaint.

People don't usually ragequit unless you're being cheap.
So....yeah.

I never had anyone ragequit on me midmatch. Just, after the match they hit "quit" faster then it appeared, ahah.

Yeah I had a Guile player try to spam me also till round 2 and he quit with me needing 1 hit to win.

I didn't know you could Hadouken spam until today. I beated that idiot every single round and he kept coming for more, but it made me really angry...
