PSP Games - I Need Help Finding Good Ones

Knowing a PSP is on the horizon, along with the memory to support games after updating the hack, I need to know what to play.

I already know of:

- Both Dissidia games
- MGS: Peace Walker (I believe that's what it's called)
- The Third Birthday

That's all I can really think of, but I know there are plenty of good games to play. Go ahead and name games of any genre that are good.
Also, I know Monster Hunter, but I want to know which is the best one to play.

God of War, both of them.

I honestly didn't like many games on the PSP, but God of War and Peace Walker were the ones I devoted the most time to.

the list can go on. PSP has a lot of good games.

Play Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G (with English patch) or Monster Hunter Portable 3rd (with English patch).

I don't like Freedom Unite (2nd G in disguise) because they removed some of the content (I LIKE MY FAMITSU PIGGIE DAMN IT) and I play 2nd G instead. essentially the same game. 3rd is all new with new monsters, bigger levels, and more stuff.

I say try both because they both have their own respective monsters that form each game (I have both on my PSP).

If you need either patch (I know 2nd G's patch was removed from the TeamHGG site when Unite was announced) I can send it to you.

If you like story driven RPGs, Crisis Core.

Gameplay driven, Valkyria Chronicles 2. Then get 3 when it gets localized (and it is). Apparently 3 will have a story that can rival VC1, and gameplay that beats VC2...you don't get much more epic then that.

Persona 3 portable

Mega Man Maverick Hunter X (MMX1 remake? hell yes)

KH: Birth By Sleep

Soul Caliber: Broken Destiny (If you like SC...get it. It plays like any typical SC game.)

Can't think of anything else off the top of my head.

f you're getting onf softmodded (which I am sure you are) get the PSX eboots for ALL OF THE Persona games.

Modern RPGs don't get more unique than this series.

Yup. Gonna upgrade it to 5.50 Prometheus-4 when I get it.

Dude don't ever sell your PSP (unless you're upgrading to a better 2000). I feel incomplete without one. I LOVE having a powerful emulation machine with tons of great games on the go. I say the PSP is quite an amazing system. I just wish more developers supported it...

You have what, Square and Sony? COME ON PEOPLE. The PSP deserves more games...

I remember when it was the shit.

Meh, it certainly doesn't hurt, although Duodecim definitely presents the first game's story better (better story mode layout and character changes).
