When you are told you can't do something, the trick is to not get caught.

You basically "got caught".

Additional lies are not going to make things any better, but if you have any brains at all, you already knew that.

I suppose the question is, why can't you go to PC rooms and is the idea that you smoke worse than using a PC room.

Seriously, there's no difference between you smoking and smelling smoke. Second hand smoke is just as bad.

Why don't you *not* lie to your parents and tell them where you were? It'll be much easier that way than trying to spin a web of lies. It'll just swallow you whole.

You should also start smoking.

Seriously, if you think sneaking out is worse than smoking and lying, then tell him that. No lie could be plausible enough in this situation to believe. But lying any further will just tangle the web more and should they ever discover you lied later, the loss of trust will be a lot bigger than it will if you tell the truth right away. It's not easy, but it could get worse.

Did you do what I told you yet? It's easy, I don't know why you're complaining. Tell them you smoke, you're probably old enough to do it anyway and then actually start smoking and then get all of your friends to smoke.
