Ebay.

Fuck yeah ebay, this is the first time i've actually had to chase up something after it arriving. i bought an airbrush on moday. dual action, gravity feed. no brand on it. came in this morning. was all pumped up to get to some painting. open up the package, pull the airbrush out. hear some rattling going on. not good. pull the airbrush apart to see whats going on. few pieces fall out as i unscrew the backshaft.

q_q. means the dual action is pretty much useless. i have to control the amount of paint being fed through myself by pulling the needle.

so first things first, i got in contact with the seller on ebay. explained what happened and showed the pic. expected to get a reply tonight maybe tomorrow morning as the store is quite a large one is a power seller on ebay.

4 minutes later i get an email, telling the seller has organised a replacement piece being sent out to me and should be in my hands by next week.

holy shit, did not expect service at this level.

Most Ebay shops and stuff are speedy quick. Most power sellers are usually just businesses in all reality and the thing they want most is positive feedback. So that means fast replies, good service.

Powersellers will do anything to avoid getting negative feedback, even when it may not have been they're fault.

I had the same sort of experience on amazon with a shop-seller thing, the PSP I ordered had a stiffly-moving and slightly-sticking analog stick, so I got told if I bring it in (it was shipping from the same city I lived in at the time) they'd replace it for me, or they could just send me a stick and link me to a replacement guide. I opted for the second one, an they even ended sending the right color. That certainly got positive feedback from me.

Once I ordered a book from a seller on Amazon, it never came.

One month later my dad talked to the seller and "oh im just a little old mom selling books out of my garage and ive been really busy please no bad feedback", well little old mom with 10000 feedback this year, too bad.

My dad gave her bad feedback and a month after that (well after when I actually needed the book, by this time my dad bought a replacement and had it come) she sent the book, even after my dad canceled the transaction so she gave us a free book.

7 years ago ebay was ace. Skip forward to today and i only use the cesspool if i can't find what i want ANYWHERE else!
