So, today I found out I got into an English college in Greece. After a year of hardships, endless nights, disappointments and constant suicidal thoughts, I managed to persevere. My parents and sister were tear-eyed and relatives immediately started calling me.
The Panhellenic exams(the exams' name in Greece) are notoriously hard and the large majority of students fail miserably. History and Ancient Greek are especially difficult subjects, Essay(or modern Greek) is somewhat hard as well, while Latin was easy, for me at least.
I am not here to boast about this success, but if I am proud of anything that's never giving up no matter the odds. I want this blog to act as inspiration for all those who have to accomplish extraordinarily back breaking tasks. Never give up. For giving up turns you into a loser who has accepted his/her fate, while being a fighter makes you in the very least feel proud if you, in the worst case scenario, don't succeed. I hope a brighter future is ahead of us, that coming from an absolute pessimist. That's my little "rant". Hope it will help you somehow.
