Hacking Wood R4 for Clones

Yeah. I have an Ak2i Clone and Xenon's release are almost there for running games

I'll guess i have to stick with AKAIO 1.5.1 MOD then until my real acekard has arrived

I'm afraid i can't give you that.

A lot of people respected Normmatt and he say that no one must distribute the crack version of his Firmware.

TBH, I think the save issue exists because we are loading the firmware as a rom. So the R4 is like emulating an emulator and trying to save inside a virtual space rather than the physical card...

Just what it seems like to me!

I load R4Menu and YSMenu as a .nds file and don't have the same problems though.

Yeahhhh I forgot about that. Shoulda known!

Nothing T_T i have my N5 kernel with "___RPG" folder and "Wood for Clone.nds" it work good but when i try to load a game it will give me two blank screens

where is the problem?

i have the same problem , the wood works , but when i enter to one rom say something like wrong with the save , and say i have to reset the ds , and this problem is with every game!

I tried on my R4 original and the save works perfect. I tried on Poenix wright Ace attourney.

I tested all the files in the front of the Page won't work. But when i tried Xenon++ posted files it works on my Ak2i Clone. I'm going to test it now if it run games & save properly

Of course just menu works on other carts

If you get the cause of menusave problem, show me that!

Yes exactly like what Rockstar said I had 1.18 and loaded Wood for clones.nds then loaded Poenix Wright. I pressed a couple buttons then saved(so it went to a different screen), Turned off DS and turned back on. I loaded Wood then loaded Poenix wright and the save worked!!

i just tried it on my r4sdhc from r4sdhc.com and it has trouble saving
I need to reformat my card because it is slightly corrupted
everything boots up perfectly though

My version fills sav with 0xff, not 0x00. So I'm glad if I can know the difference.

Anyway we should make cross-loader build, which means WoodR4+R4li.
