SignaturePiracy is good. Not for any moral or ethical reasons, but because once the piracy dam breaks, devs who are militantly anti-piracy no longer have any reason to hold their work back.
A lot of the actual cool stuff you can do with homebrew requires the sort of system control that also enables piracy. Stuff like romhacks, installing games, or making your own games with full power.
And the money saved could be used to help some of the most vulnerable people in our society. Or just line the pirate's pockets. Infringement is an interesting ethical grey spot.
