Thanks for the feedback.
I bet both problems are related somehow, since it was working fine before.
I'll hang tight for the next version and hopefully both birds will be killed with the same stone.

Regards.

A little off-topic but, has anybody found a somewhat generic forwarder for WiiFlow that attempts to imitate what an official USB channel would look like?
I'm thinking something like animted picture of a USB drive or something like that.
I've seen one of a spinning USB drive but the animation is pretty crude.

I have been asking this for a while. I never liked the "official" Wiiflow graphic. There's the icon that was made by matriculated, but that was just part of his icon packs so it's not really official. Then of course you have people like Benjay who has made a forwarder for most themes, but again I wouldn't say they are particular to Wiiflow on it's own.

I stated before that Benjay's new Wiiflow loading screen looks very cool and I think it would make a great "official" looking graphic and a forwarder from it would be sweet.

Of course if you are asking for a few "Wii-ish" looking forwarders, you can always just customize one with the dol forwarder file for Wiiflow.

Yes. The current forwarder itself is terrific, with its good speed and nice animated wait screen.
It's the banner and icon that would have to be created for a "official" Wii USB Channel but that I am an art clutz.

That's not to say there is anything wrong with BenJay's channels. I love the carbonik one and that is what I currently use. It's just that I would like to use one that looks like it's part of the Wii. I would even keep the music from carbonik.

Orchid wallpaper froze wiiflow when applied after default theme on the latest rc1 using as channel method. Aftrer reboot it was applied but the game title alignment was off

Also how do you bring up the game synopsis and turn of the cover noise when flicking through?

Nice theme btw

I can't see any problem in your picture...

You can't turn the cover noise down in the settings , but you can just remove the flip.wav that is inside the "orchid" folder.
Game synopsis = select a game , then press on + to see the infos , then press right on the pad to see the synopsis.

great work with the new release! it feels and looks really great!!!
the new themes are very nice and i'd like to use the blackwii/whitewii themes but i get a codedump when i try to launch a game. i used the r304-249.dol with cios249 rev20b based on 56. i tried it on 3 wiis and with different cios versions, all with the same result...anyone got the new themes to work?
the orchid theme works great for me.

Hey, davidnlta.

I've made quite a few ever since I started trying the latest build. Deleting the all the ini files is one of the things I did while systematically trying isolate the problem. The only consistent solution to be able to launch the individual games, was to shut down the Wii. However, I can almost never launch the main dol, even after restarting.

Thanks. I hope I don't waste your time, if there is a chance it will fix itself on the next update.
Should I go there any time?

Quick one:
Does anyone have the Nforwarder58 dol for WiiFlow with a blank (black) splash screen, instead of the alien face one?
I would like to inject into the WiiFlow channel I'm using.

Thanks!

I've got to fix this ASAP please! I *LOVE* this feature!!!

I lost my "return to channel" option and get booted back into the Wii menu. I HATE THAT. arrrgghhhh.

What I did was made an additional drive with a FAT32 partition on it (still using SD card and all, just has games on the new HD) but in order to use it I had to load cIOS249 rev 19+ so I loaded it into 57 because that was what the community seemed to recommend (here and wiihacks). So everything was working well on the FAT32 drive and when I changed back to the WBFS drive again, as soon as WiiFlow would boot up (I'd get the splash screen after clicking the forwarder and the "please wait") then BAM, screen dump. This was happening over and over so the only thing I did was delete my wiiflow.ini file and then everything worked again BUT I no longer have my "return to channel" option. So I checked out my old .ini file and see if I could find the option in there and maybe add it to the new .ini file.

EDIT to say that I kept looking and see that i think I've narrowed down my problem - I think it's the return to: (insert 4 letter channel id here) and I tried using my old one that was WFBJ and it still doesn't work. Do I need to reinstall that old forwarder or maybe a new forwarder and change it to that 4 letter word like maybe the new orchid one and use WBJF and try that?

THANKS SO MUCH IN ADVANCE!!!
