Apologies if this is being posted in the wrong category; I'm new to posting on GBATemp in general and couldn't find a dedicated support thread.

Basically, I'm modding a wii for a friend and picked up a 1TB SSD to store all the ROMs in so that I could give them every game they would need. Everything was working fine until it was time to test the Wii games with USB Loader. For some reason, after installing it, while the Wii/GC games loaded fine, all of the retro emulators stopped being able to access the USB device. It was detecting it, as programs like WiiXplorer let me look at the files I had on there, but for some reason couldn't load the directory. I checked the settings of each emulator, ensuring they were set to USB and port 0 (even trying different ports just to try it), clean reinstalling emulators at their latest versions, checked to see if there were any extra partitions, reformatted the USB (in FAT32), and changed the ROM directories to their default (inside the actual apps' ROM folders), but nothing seemed to be working. Even after uninstalling USB Loader, using cmd's 'clean all' command, and reformatting again (in FAT32), the USB drive couldn't be accessed. I tried everything again with the WiiFlow Master Plugins Pack, and while NES games would oddly show up, nothing else did (except for the Wii/GC games again). And the NES games wouldn't even play, they'd just try to load and boot me back to the system menu.

At this point, I just want everything to be playable and feel bad making my friend wait, but have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I've modded multiple Wiis and WiiUs before over the years, though it was a long time ago and using only an SD card; this is my first time using an external drive, but I want to make sure my friend can experience the most out of her Wii. I'm not really sure where to go from here and was wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue that they've been able to solve.

For now, I've included examples of my issue, pictures of my SysCheck results, current SD card contents, and current SSD content, but please let me know if there's anything anyone can do with any further information. Thank you and hopefully this can be solved!

Looks like you've put all apps & games onto your USB SSD ?
No mention of an SD card being present or it's use ?
It also sounds like all the other rom emulator apps worked before you installed USBL GX & Wii & GC games ?

Maybe you're missing ios 58, try installing it and see if that helps:
Tried and successfully installed ios 58 and still get the same result

I have images of both my USB and SD card. The USB only has the ROMs, WBFS, and Games folder.
The SD card has all my apps, bootmii files, and emulator folders.
And yes, the emulators were working before, which is why I thought uninstalling, removing the Wii/GC games, or wiping the drive would help, but nothing seems to be working.

The only thing I can think of that I haven't mentioned is that I've installed d2x cios, but I don't think that would cause my emulators to stop working.

Maybe tomorrow I'll try wiping the SD and seeing what happens.

I'm only going by the old norm where ....
All wii apps, emulators & GC games are on the SD card. You may need obtain a bigger SD card. If you need more info on a larger SD, ask. I used a 512Gb & 256Gb with total ease. (I used micro SDXC in SD adapters).
Wii games on USB (WBFS folder) & tick USBL GX for Wii games. For HDD - Fat32-32k clusters, & make sure it has sufficient power (needs a Y cable ?).

I'm not into other emulators (just Wii & GC games). Period.

Perhaps consider that the 1Tb HDD you're using is not up to scratch (power &/or full compatibility).

Very strange that all other emulators work fine, till you put Wii & GC games.
I strictly only run GC games (& only apps) from SD & directly with Nintendont (USBL GX only for double disc games).

Are your all your emulators on SD, or.... ?

I would put Wii games on USB 1st, GC games (on SD) 2nd, & other emulators (slowly) one-by-one (with testing in-between) with each addition. You may stumble on the culprit (or whatever is causing the headaches).

Also post a Syscheck. The problem may be detect there.

It might seems silly but make sure you plugged your drive back into USB port 0. Plugging it into port 1 can cause games and other things not to show up. Port 0 is the one closest to the edge or the bottom one if laying flat.

Yeah, it seems like my only option would be to move all the non-Wii/GC roms to SD and get a bigger SD card. I updated the post to include the syscheck, as I forgot to add it.

I tried both multiple times, but it never worked :/
