it was sql injection. once people gained access, which multiple people including myself did, we could print the db to the page and see the things they were doing. using the information_schema table, we were able to get details on the usernames & passwords. and like noob devs, they had 3dsthemes.com/phpmyadmin open so we had free reign from there

And then someone blew the DB off the face of the earth so phpmyadmin doesn't work..
Maybe someone should build a new one? I'd be interested in doing it, even if it was very rudimentary.

Yeah, the thing is sql injection is the first security problem you have to take care of when you are developing a web, because it's very easy to use...

There could always be the chance that the people behind the site are inexperienced in the field of site hacking etc. This might've been something they overlooked
