I tested my sram patched Pokemon Ruby CIA (Europe Version).

I get the the first three messages. The Game saves and runs fine on my 2ds.

Are you trying to run a Pokemon Ruby Romhack?
No I didn't hack anything, also mine is USA ROM

Did you also tick BOTH SRAM Save Type & SRAM Patch during conversion?
Also I name my ROMs, CIA etc as "Pokémon" instead of "Pokemon" do you think the "é" caused this save error?

I used this thread's software version 1.6b to patch the ROMs (ticked both sram on step 1 & 4), did u use same version too?

But for all 5 core Pokémon GBA Games (Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, FireRed & LeafGreen),
if I ticked BOTH SRAM Save Type & SRAM Patch during conversion using this thread's software, It can play normally but loading from saves won't work:

Here are the in-game messages:

1)
The internal battery has run dry.
The game can be played.
However, clock-based events will no longer occur.

2)
The save file has been erased due to corruption or damage.
Wait for the new version. It supports the save type Pokemon uses.

You need to do more patching, they use 1M saves and not 512K. I am the only known patcher of the pokemon games.

People:

I won't update this injector (Ultimate GBA Injector for 3DS) anymore. It's not worth.

Instead, I'll only support my new All-In-One Injector (New Super Ultimate Injector for 3DS), which is currently in beta, but it fully supports NES, SNES, GB, GBC and GBA injection at this time (including forwarding methods for all of them).
It has an improved interface and it supports all GBA ROMs, something that this injector does not do. I'm basically merging all my injectors into this one, but improving the injection methods and the interface.

So, if you people really need and want to have an updated Injector with 100% GBA ROM support, please PM me asking for the latest version of New Super Ultimate Injector for 3DS (a.k.a NSUI :P). I'm always improving this New Injector, and I have a changelist for whoever want to know what I'm implementing.

I'll make an appropriate post in the forum when I finish the release version. That will be when I complete all the missing consoles (PC Engine, SEGA consoles, etc).

P.S.: It should work with all kind of ROM hacks if it works with an emulator/real hardware.

P:S. 2: You should't post here for ROMs incompatibility with Ultimate GBA Injector, instead, you should ask me the latest version of New Super Ultimate Injector by PM.

That's a SNES game, right? Assuming that it doesn't work with the SNES injector, did you try with the SNES forwarder maker? I don't think there's much different between what is released now and the Super Ultimate as far as SNES games go, but I could be wrong.

@Asdolo Maybe your old threads should get locked once the Super Ultimate is ready for release, with links to the release thread added in. [emoji6]

Yes, it is an SNES game. It works in emulators on PC and I have a reproduction cart for my hardware SNES that works just fine, but not so in the injector.

So what is this forwarder maker by chance? I will have to look into this, if it can get the game to work! Thanks for sharing!

no elite 4 save error? or "save is corrupted" error messages?

Correct. Thanks to new AGBFirm discoveries, there's no need to patch any ROM for save compatibility, they can be injected completely unmodified. No error messages, no save corruption. It'll all "just work".

If we knew back in the early days of GBA injection what we knew now, nobody would be having this conversation. [emoji6]
