Hacking Homebrew GBA GBA VC Save Corrupt

I need help! I'm trying to import my GBA save from my emulator to my VC on the 3ds, and the save always gets corrupted. I'm using gm9, and I'm doing all the right steps. Even when I dump a save, then inject it (the same save I dumped), the file still corrupts. I'm playing pokemon emerald, using a CIA from "Ultimate GBA VC Injector for 3DS".

Maybe the cia is not well created, if the game uses a 128KB save, you must inject it using sram patching when you create it

How would I do that? Ultimate GBA VC Injector only allows for the sram patch to be applied a certain amount of times. I've just been doing it once, and the save comes out to a 32kb, not 128.
