Ignore anything I said about launching US/EUR ORAS from Sysnand. I could've sworn it worked for me before, but trying now I get "This game card cannot be used."

has anyone made a Powersave file yet for 11.0.0-33U?
I would like to get back to modding my Pokemon using PkHex with this since OoT3D and Ninjahax are blocked and f̶e̶l̶l̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶f̶a̶c̶e̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶e̶a̶r̶t̶h̶ is having a ruth time fixing the exploits

Sadly ORAS uses Per-Cart encryption
OoT3D is the only secondary cart that doesn't use this, so its the only one we can make Powersave files for.

Won't ever work because of encryption.

If you have OoTHaxx still, it does work in 11.x it just takes a long time to trigger because of the randomization. I've managed to boot OoTHaxx 4 times on 11.x and installed BaseHaxx with it. So you can do that if you're patient enough. But do make PowerSave of your cart after you install it so you can restore without having to grind through OoT again

WARNING: If you are using basehaxx and have no other entrypoints or Powersaves to specifically back up and restore saves, don't mess with Wondercard data within ORAS; it'll most likely make basehaxx unusable unless you restore a save with a working basehaxx.

Speaking from experience?
power saves are crap now like they were only good in 2013 - 2014 because it was the only way to edit saves then
No, they're still useful for some things... namely save editors

Well, if they were able to install basehaxx, I imagine they could restore saves.

Well in my case, I have a friend with OoThax. I'm currently having issues installing SMDhax, and I came so close to purchasing Freakyforms Deluxe, but my transaction (made when there were 8 in stock on a site) was probably too late. So I used Powersaves to restore my save (made right after installing basehaxx). So long story short, the warning is for anyone who doesn't own the exploit used to install basehaxx nor Powersaves.

Fair enough, I suppose a fair few people would use the hax of others to install basehaxx.

If you ask in the SMChax thread and detail the issues you've been having, I'm sure I and others can try to help you out.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
