KTM aka Kernel Time Machine. An app(?) that's noob friendly that helps you check the fimware package before allowing you to downgrade.Noob question: Is KTM name of the guy who is working on new way to downgrade or it is acronym of something?
not if you have a gamecard below 10.3every 3ds is bascially hackable now that we can downgrade...this is only scary if u screw up the proccess and are forced to go to latest firmware
Yes, because if you softbrick your only option is safe mode, which will update you to the latest firmware. As far as I know you can't use a game cartridge's update from safe mode.not if you have a gamecard below 10.3
When you cannot login to home menu due to a softbrick, a gamecard is just a decorationnot if you have a gamecard below 10.3
Nope. Both confirmed using the latest 'safe' version of SysUpdater, both confirmed using the correct checksum-verified update pack, both confirmed that taking the SD card out doesn't work so no Menuhax glitch. Plus a third person reported the pseudo-hardbrick in the thread. TuxSH has suggested a possible code corruption, so in other words it's SysUpdater's fault. This program is not completely safe.Either they used a wrong update pack, or a unsafe version of sysupdater. Or they have the themehax error and they just have to take off the sd card to boot correctly...
Formating the 3ds before attempting to downgrade also greatly increase the success chances.
Can we update emunand to this 10.4 when it comes out?

We don't know and never will. You will always need to wait for someone to confirm emuNAND still works with new updates (or back it up and test it yourself).is it ok to update in emunand after they make a new update?
Can Nintendo update your 3ds without your consent?Eh... this may seem like an unnecessary bump, but I just wanted to remind people.
MAINTENANCE WILL BE STARTING TONIGHT. So its highly recommended that you guys set up the Youtubehax DNS in order to protect yourselves from a possible update TONIGHT that may patch all the exploits that are out in the wild right now!
Times for the Maintenance if anyone's curious:
I'd wait till it drops. So we can safely update emuNAND when the new version hits? I mean, can they introduce an update that when we update our emuNAND it renders it unusable? I know it's silly, but is it possible?
Back your emuNAND up and test it, if you're asking whether or not the update could prevent you to boot into emuNAND even after restoring a backup, the answer is no.So we can safely update emuNAND when the new version hits? I mean, can they introduce an update that when we update our emuNAND it renders it unusable? I know it's silly, but is it possible?
