Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale Dated, 2 New Characters Revealed

Sony's upcoming 2D crossover brawler, Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, has been dated and some more characters have been revealed.

For the US, it'll hit on October 23rd. Europe will get it the 24th, Australia the 25th, and the UK and Ireland on the 26th for both the Playstation 3 and Vita.

Additionally, two new characters were revealed. Heihachi, of Tekken fame, will be joining the fray, as will Toro, Sony's Japanese mascot. You can view Heihachi's trailer here and Toro's trailer can be seen here.

Heihachi marks the second non-first party character in Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, the first one being the Big Daddy of Bioshock fame.

Also as someone who grew on ps1/ps2 i'd rather see Crash, Spyro, Ratchet, or Jak. (Not the new Spyro either that thing looks ugly as shit)

And this is only a fraction of the roster, $50 says Ratchet/Clank and Jak/Daxter are there, Crash and Spyro are questionable though.

He is kinda one of their flagship franchises at the moment. It'd be more wrong if he wasn't in there.

On another note, I'm interested on price point. Like it seems really interesting but if it doesn't have enough single player content for the Vita to carry it then I may wait until it's cheaper.

I'm surprised Sackboy, Ratchet (and friends), Jak (and friends), hasn't been revealed yet. But I am glad we're getting more third party characters.

The cast is being built up pretty well. If they can keep pulling off these pleasant surprises, I'll be more than satisfied by the time the game launches.

I wasn't on about morally, I meant in that screenshot he really looks like the odd one out. As for the single player content, well lets be honest, games like this ain't made with single player in mind, it's meant to be a party game where you have laughs with friends, just my take on it

Hmm id like to see the main charecter from medievil in this game (cant remember his name right now...) jersey devil would be nice (if anyone remembers him ) abe from oddworld would make me explode (but since oddworld has branched out idk that he would be able to join, even though he was a sony mascot for a little while) Croc would be cool (my first playstation game) then of course crash bandicoot and spyro the dragon. Guess we gotta wait and see

Was on the Sega Saturn and the Gameboy Color too so i imagine it would go the same way your Odd World idea did. Suprised no one has said Ape Escape yet

Tbh I couldn't care less about it (possibly) being a copy of nintendo, as log as the game is good
