Well like I said, I had just started messing around with WiiFlow and those emulators. So far I have only tried NES, SNES and Genesis. They seem to work fine. WiiFlow however has been crashing on me quick a few times while I've been browsing my games. Which sucks because I am doing this on my Wii U in Wii Mode and the only way to reset my Wii U from a crash is to unplug it which isn't in a convenient place. Plus the other downfall from doing this on a Wii U is that the emulators I've tried don't work with a USB drive that is hidden with UStealth. So I think I am going to give up on WiiFlow and emulators for now but would like to come back and mess around with it again later.

Do not patch anything under IOS200, especially if you're on a Wii-U.

If you want to run WW/VC look into EmuNAND or NEEK. You'll run out of space really quick installing VC/WW to real NAND anyway. :P

Hi,

I want to play Resident Evil 4 Wi Edition with a gun attachment because I think it would be more fun than just the wiimote + nunchuck.

So, I wanted to change the button layouts of the wiimote + nunchuck and I know of the ocarina cheat you can use but I find it hard to follow the instructions (it goes way over my head). What I'm talking about is this link here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/button-mapping-b-to-z.354324/ and http://www.codemasters-project.net/vb/showthread.php?10701-WiiRd-Button-Values-amp-Code-Types where they solve how to do it, but I can't figure it out.

If you see this code that is already available:
Resident Evil 4 (US)
Hold Z To Aim, A To Run, Press B To Shoot
040870E8 540005EF
042D8610 00000020
042D8618 00000100
042D861C 00000200

Is there anyone that can do something similar to this for me or explain how I could achieve it myself. My preferable layout would be:
Z to aim, B to shoot, C to run and I would prefer if the code works for the pal version but I'll go with the ntsc version if that's all I could get.

The original buttons are:
Z = run
B = aim
A = shoot
C = knife

And I would need to change it to:
Z = aim (B>Z)
B = shoot (A>B)
A = knife (C>A)
C = run (Z>C)

If anyone could help me or steer me in the right direction I would be grateful.

hello guys, I need a help.

I just installed USB loader GX on my wii and installed nintendont as well. I have this problems:

1. if I play any gamecube games directly from usb gx loader menu, suddenly I got no signal. my tv only transmits sound
2. I can go to the homebrew launcher and launch nintendont from there, the game plays but I cannot make any save.

so my question is, how to make me able to play gamecube games from usb loader gx and also makes an emulated memory card?

So I finally got Neek running after all this time and I want to put all my VC/WiiWare purchases on the Wii System Memory so I can load them through GX yet when I try to copy them from the SDCard, it just hangs on the Copying to System Memory page, and trying to download them again through the Shop gives me an error 204038?

You'll need to dump the downloads from your real NAND with BlueDump and install the WADs on the NEEK filesystem either with GX's WAD manager or ShowMiiWads. (Or you can install them then dump your NAND.)

Question: I have IOS c60 and I want to upgrade cIOS d2x v10. Do I have to do anything prior to using the d2x installer, i.e. uninstall previous ios or anything special like that? Sorry for noob question, I really don't wanna brick my wii by doing something stupid.

Hey I've had Homebrew on my Wii U's vWii for a while and it's been working no problem, but recently I tried playing some brawl mods and I noticed I was getting some DSI errors on USB Loader GX, Gecko, and just about every other program I tried using to run the mods. I tried uninstaling and reinstaling the HBC through StackSmash but this just seems to have made it worse as the DSI errors now happen as I browse the HBC in general, usually only having a few seconds to even access any apps before a crash. I also get ISI errors for some of them.

Is there any way I can reset my vWii to the original state, and reinstall the mods again, I can't seem to debug this, and even attempting to reinstal CIOS results i DSI error crashes as well. Outside of the HBC it seems to be fine though, I've tried a few SD cards all FAT32 format, so I think one of my IOS files might be corrupted, I used Nintendon't to play Gamecube backups so I'm using IOS58 for that.

Usually I'm pretty decent at finding out these things but this ones particularly obtuse. I hope its not a sign of more permanent damage.

I've been trying to find a solution to this for a week now, and have had absolutely zero success. I'm trying to get Rock Band 3 to run on my soft modded wii with both usb instrument support and access to sd card storage for dlc. I know that cios is needed for the sd access, and cios 222 is for usb instruments. Is there a way to combine the two, or possibly store and access dlc on emulated NAND to do away with the need for an sd card?

Edit: NTSC

Hi, I have a Wii code creation question regarding FRAGILE DREAMS. Would it be possible for a noob like me or a person with experience and skill to make it so in game, while controlling the character, you can move the character while in the first person viewing mode(holding the b button)?

Is it possible to use a virtual sd card in wii games? My slot is broken and there are certain Brawl hacks that are impossible to fully play without an sd card, even with ISO Building.

I still dont have a external HD though will be getting one soon I hope. Just out of curiosity would an SD card with a USB adapter work with USB loader ?

I did manage to put muramasa on the sd card via WFSB but couldn't load it on USB loader on the wii.
when I try to load USB loader it always go's back to the wii menu.

How do you actually set up emunand? I did the dumping whatever through usbloader gx and installed some wads using showmiiwads but then when I tried to launch them it just kicked me back to the home menu? Is that different from (S)NEEK or how does this all work? I tried to find some guides for it but everything is from 2011/2012 and I don't know what's the best way to do it (I'm assuming USBLoader's thing but if I can't actually play the games then there's really no point).

Does Letterbomb still work? Want to buy a used Wii to mod, so tried to send a Letter bomb to my Wii that's already modded and never got the Letterbomb. Tried a few times, nothing. Checked date, etc. Does Letterbomb only allow you to send it ONE time? Want to know before I buy the used Wii and find out I can't.
