Does Letterbomb still work? Want to buy a used Wii to mod, so tried to send a Letter bomb to my Wii that's already modded and never got the Letterbomb. Tried a few times, nothing. Checked date, etc. Does Letterbomb only allow you to send it ONE time? Want to know before I buy the used Wii and find out I can't.

Of course. It's for System Menu 4.3, though, and there is no actual transmission involved. You just have to use your correct MAC address and region when downloading the package.

Just make sure the console is updated, go to http://please.hackmii.com and enter your MAC and console's region then click one of the buttons. The hacked mail should appear on the current or previous day and it's a red envelope with a bomb on it.

I've had weird things happen a few times when using LetterBomb. On at least 2 of the 9+ Wiis I've set up LetterBomb didn't show up on the previous days screen. On both I just ended up shutting things down to figure it out the next day. Low & behold the next day when I turned them on without doing anything else LetterBomb was there on the day before just like it was suppose to.

Also, when entering the MAC address if it looks like a ZERO or the Letter O, too hard for me to tell apart, I always enter it as a ZERO and it's aways worked for me.

Yea, I'm not getting it! Could it be because my Wii is already modded? Does it only send the letterbomb out once to each Mac address? Can someone try it and let me know?
Thanks

The site doesn't track anything and, as I said, doesn't send anything at all. The malformed message is not transmitted to you. It's in the /private/ folder that you put on the SD card.

There are no "O"s in MAC addresses. They're hex. 0-9 and A-F only. :)

Didn't know that. I always wondered why they would do that, the ZERO & Letter O, seemed too confusing. Good to know, thanks!!

You can always re-hack your Wii with ModMii - https://gbatemp.net/threads/modmii-for-windows-official-support-topic.207126/

Treat it like a new installation and the guide generated will walk you through the entire process including how to properly install LetterBomb.

okay so I have bootmii, priloader and homebrew instaled and have got USB loader gx working and wii flow with backups, but now Im having trouble with virtual console and wii ware, I have a Pal system so far I tried using wad manager and just installing to the wii with NTSC files and it worked however n64 titles have glitchy sound and snes dont load at all. PAL files work fine but I was wondering if there is anyway to play NTSC wad files on a PAL system ?
and is it possible to save them to the same harddrive as wii backups ?

I can see how wii flow works with wii games but also how about GC? can it play iso's?

I was trying to format and partition my external HDD and I heard about it needing to be cluster size 32k. What does that mean? What is cluster size? Also, what is MBR and GPT? Is it anything like FAT32, WBFS, and NTFS?

Yes, format the drive as FAT32, depending on the drive size you might need a different program to format large drives as FAT 32 - See http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?guiformat.htm.

There will be an are to select the ALLOCATION UNIT SIZE, select 32k (32768).

MBR & GPT referees to how the drive manages the data on it, so that's different. I use EaseUS Partition Master to see what type mine are.

I know with Wii Sports Resort, you have to change the dol to player.dol to watch the WM+ video and then change it back to main.dol

When I use Nintendont with USB LOADER GX on a game on my USB, it gives a dsi exception. But if I run an iso that was burned onto a disc, it runs perfectly fine (but then gives a "disc cover is open" error). I use the default settings for USB LOADER GX. I installed IOS249[56]v10b53 so why is this happening? The USB I use is a 1.5TB Seagate FreeAgent.
