Nintendo announced on Twitter today that a new character will be revealed for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tomorrow at 7am PT/10am ET. The video presentation will only be three minutes long, and will then be followed by a short message from Smash Bros. director Masahiro Sakurai.

- They bring over Geno and release an update to NSO that adds SM: RPG
- Paper Mario with an announcement of a TTYD remake/remaster
- Persona 3 MC and a remake of P3FES because I like P3 uwu
- A Disgaea rep. Most likely Laharl
- Rayman
- Ristar?
- A Ys rep?

Please keep in mind that I don't think it will actually be any of these, but I like to hope. I know it will probably be Cat Mario or something stupid.

Honestly I think this is the better way anyway. Sakurai said it's going to be hard to top ultimate as far as characters go so why not just keep making DLC? It might be more expensive but it keeps the game fresh

i believe Ninty has taken notes from Crapcom, which introduced same business model about SFV: just make one fighting game per Every gen of console then recycle, update and balance existing characters, and keep roll out new ones to game fresh.
