Mario Rabbids RPG Is Real And Coming To Switch. Mario+Rabbids Kingdom Battle

Mario Odyssey isn't the only Mario experience we'll be getting later this year.

Kotaku has recently leaked that the Mario and Rabbids crossover RPG is real and will be coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch later this fall.

Although the person who sent the assets asked us not to share them, they corroborate the existence of a bizarre crossover RPG that’s currently scheduled to come to Switch in either August or September. Ubisoft is developing Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle on the publisher’s proprietary Snowdrop engine, according to the assets we’ve seen. The game’s selling points appear to be a) turn-based combat, b) two-player local co-op, and c) a goofy sense of humor. (The art we’ve seen features Mario and crew wielding guns that shoot laser beams.)

The game will apparently have eight playable characters: Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Peach, and, bizarrely, four Rabbids dressed up as Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and Peach.

I for one, a completely unbiased person in this matter, think this will be the greatest game of all time and that all other RPG's should be canceled so that this perfect game can take the spotlight. I'd like to point out I take full credit for the existence of this game. It was made for me.

finally Nintendo listens to its fans ^_^

not but really I'm all for them trying new stuff, and I actually like how involved Ubisoft have remained with Nintendo, with them offering so much backing of the wiiu despite all the crap it stands to reason Nintendo and ubisoft have been snuggling up in bed and this was the product of that "snuggle"

lets see if it pays off I'm willing to give it a chance and see if it brings anything fresh to the table

you can't soil something that is already soiled.

Anyhow I wait for the game before passing judgement. I enjoyed the party games and Gone Home was quite alright.
Sorry, that was just bugging me.

Also, you can't soil a character that hasn't gotten their own game...

Rabbids? So Ubisoft gives Prince of Persia, Splinter Cell and Rayman the middle finger yet that Rabbids' crap gets a crossover with Mario. :(

In before the game selling poorly and/or being delayed six months because Microsoft wants it on their precious console.
Microsoft doesn't care anymore about Kinect so why would they want this Rabbids' garbage on their system? It's not even popular among kids.

It was a jab at the whole Rayman bullshit the Wii U version suffered and delayed because Microsoft wanted the game on their dying 360. That, and the game will run <20 fps too, like the Wii U ports of their games did.

It was understandable Ubisoft making Rayman Legends a multiplat game but Rabbids X Mario? Such a weird crossover. I won't even be pre-ordering this game and I usually pre-order most Nintendo games that I want.

The point is the Wii U version was supposed to come out first, but Microsoft threw a tantrum and port-begged it to come to their precious console first and the Wii U port was delayed. Port-begging mendicants.

Yeah, I get that but Ubisoft made the right call. Zombi was later ported to PS4, PC and XO though did the sales do well? I've read some feedback and it's mixed.

I never liked Zombi on the WiiU so suffice to say I'd not bother with the newer ports either.
