I just deleted it and everything seems to function as normal.

It appears to prioritise booting from SD if the file exists on the SD card.
With this update, you really don't need the arm9loaderhax.bin on your SD card.
I just asked cause when new updates come out and i use the luma updator thing, is just gonna install to the sd anyway, so i would just have to copy to the ctrnand, unless someone updates it to have optional SD or NAND updates.

I have been using Gateway Card all the time but its kinda annoying to boot always into this mode etc.

So, how I can now flash this CFW?

This page: https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/wiki/Installation-and-upgrade is not really useful, it does not really tell how to install from scratch. so is there a tutorial?

thanks
That's because this is Luma3DS's wiki, it only tells you how to install Luma3DS... Obviously...
If you want to install A9LH you have to go there: https://plailect.github.io/Guide/

Hey guys, maybe someone can help me :)
I want to boot Luma with the homebrew menu. It worked directly with the boot.3dsx before, but when i try it on homebrew, the bottom screen turns red for a very short time and the 3DS hangs up.

Its an european old 3DS with firmware 9.2.0.
On the root of my SD-Card i have the "arm9loaderhax.bin" and the "Luma3DS.dat". In the luma-folder is the "config.bin" and in the /3ds/Luma3DS/ folder are the files "Luma3DS.3dsx" and "Luma3DS.smdh". Am I missing something?

Yeah, if you use Luma with the SD inserted they go in SD:/luma as usual. Otherwise they go to CTRNAND:/rw/luma
Turns out I just forgot to enable bootsplashes, been forever since I used Luma
So after figuring everything put again, I went and replace SaltFW on my boyfriends' 3DSs. So now they are running Luma from their NANDs

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but if Luma is installed only to CTRNAND, will Luma Updater replace the arm9loaderhax.bin there instead of readding it to SD during future updates?
