Hmm, but both systems are on 11 of their respective CFW. I'm really curious if it will take as it is now. Otherwise I guess I would have to make a GW emunand on my N3ds, transfer, load luma on it... (not sure how to convert GW to Luma on the same system even though), flash to sysnand of my a9lh n3ds
DidJust do the transfer like normal. It doesn't matter the cfw. Your "backed up" games won't transfer. But your bought ones and your nnid will.
wasn't aware you could do that with dec9, transfer went through fine. The gateway emunand is and luma seem to be just fine. Thanks for the input everyone. There's no "conversion" at all. An EmuNAND is an EmuNAND. All CFWs, including GW's, do their patching in memory. It doesn't matter what CFW setup your EmuNAND (or SysNAND for that matter). It will work with any CFW. The transfer should work just fine. Though I'm not seeing the point. You can dump saves with SDF. And you can dump your NNID and friends list with Decrypt9. But to each their own.

nah simple mistake, forgot I used my larger sd in my n3ds and didn't have it in my GW card. Everything is A ok nowI admit, I've not tried it, but they're in the file dumping options. You probably do need to re-format EmuNAND. The process does tend to format the sending device at the end. Given GW's firm protection, that may not have gone smoothly.
So, is out of region manuals not working for some games, or is it just me?
I installed Luigi's Mansion 2 (EUR) and Inazuma Eleven Go Light (EUR) using FBI QR Code with CDN download and the games work fine but the manuals do not.
My N3DS XL is of USA Region
I'm thinking the region and language emulation feature might help with that.
doesn't this only apply while ingame and not on the home menu?
It does not fix the problem unfortunately...It doesn't really say. The fact that you enable it at the select menu led me to believe it was global, but try it and see.
It boots into SysNAND so the game saves properly. There is no fix for this yet and last time I checked, GBA always exited to SysNAND even as far back as in the AuReiNAND builds.Hello. I have sysnand and emunand linked, and I use arm9loaderhax with lumafw. After updating luma, now when I boot a gba game and I exit, it reboot to the sysnand. In older versions I remember it rebooted to the emunand. Does somebody know what happen or how could I fix it? Or there is not fix?
Aurora I have a question:
This is the official thread for the Luma3DS "CFW". Please be civil, and read the wiki below before asking questions or contacting me privately. No "CFW wars" allowed on the thread.

I have Version 5.5 installed, because i wanted to access the e-shop, but now I get the error code 022-2634
Does anyone know how to fix that?

Check this and its answer.
Update to the latest developer commit: https://astronautlevel2.github.io/Luma3DSDev/I have updated to the latest version of Luma3DS developer edition, but it freezes on booting. The latest regular edition works, but I need to use the developer functions.
I have went through the troubleshooting steps, and it still doesn't boot, just freezes.
I have an old3DS with an ancient screen-init A9LH installation with an updated SysNAND on version 11.0

Strange, there were some dev specific problems in 5.5 yesterday but the latest commit should fix them.I'm already on the latest commit version, since like 2hrs :/
