Maybe its Nintendo plan...this Crown 3DS...some card for 3ds rom and we all just waiting and nothing happened and on the end we say its impossible to do anything...ok well we buy a game and Nintendo win :)
Just because one team tried and failed(?) doesn't mean that we all just give up. There are plenty of hackers still working on exploiting the 3DS.

(?) = we don't know if they failed yet...
yeah, its very likely that other teams are working on exploiting the 3DS, so even if this is a fake, i'm pretty sure that other teams will succeed
until they succeed, no any leak information to public about that.

in my time now 67 3DS ROM.

@[member='frogboy'] : maybe they failed and nintendo win XD

is a big fake i know it
guysguysguys. This guy knows it's fake. We should just drop it now.

But seriously, why does everyone think it's fake? It's gotta happen eventually. There will be a 3DS flashcard. Why not this one? The video on the site looks pretty promising to me.

Just because someone dumped doesn't mean they have the power to play them, does it?
Actually, team Legacy claimed that they already tried their dumps and they already hacked their 3DSs but won't share how did they do it and will leave it to the "chinese" :glare:

OMG WHY THE HECK THEY WONT SHARE !!!!!

because the method used is neither cheap nor practical nor comfortable
and they do not want people to pirate games (at least most claim so)

replacing the rom chip with something that "looks" like a rom chip should work

eg
attach ram to a chip that handles refresh to get pseudo-sram
replace the rom chip of a cart with wire to that device
attatch device via usb to pc for power and easy medling with content

or use nor-flash instead of ram to operate untetherd from pc

unless the game cartridge includes a active crypto chip individual to at least that title
you should be able to load any valid rom to it
but only one at a time unless someone get unsigned code to run

the flashcard makers want something cheap (no nor), practical (no external power -> no ram, small) and comfortable (games >1) instead

Making a workable solution could involve for example a normal PC sized box wired to the 3DS. This is in no way a practical way let along the average people friendly. Sure it could also be smaller, but the point is still valid. Just wait for it...

using a flash cart would be rustic, Softmode is better and more stable

assuming this simulates an encrypted rom chip or the encrypted rom matches the respective offsets, right?

Softmods would most likely have a higher chance of bricking your 3DS.

Also depending on how the console works, it may be impossible to run content off the SD: DSi mode says hi!

It could be fake,or it could be not.

They're updating their progress bar on their website...i think...

Also it shouldn't surprise you that it's taking longer than anticipated,I'm sure their encounter 1 bug after another as they're digging deeper and deeper in different games.
Usually no1 would want to release a half-assed product.

Again,I'm not saying that it's real, but just because they're not releasing it doesn't mean they're fake.
