reinstall .net framework 3.5 (and 2.0 just for good measure). Also perform ALL the windows updates you're missing, then try again. And don't worry, once u download the files once, they'll be saved to ModMii temp folder, so even if it takes u a few tries to download something, u won't need to download it at all next time

in modmii downlaod list you should change the waninikoko cios20 to 20b, it has more combatibilty. cod blackops works with 20b base 57 but not wwith rev20.

there's no difference between rev20 and rev20b cIOSs, just the installer is different, here's a quote of the changelog

Released rev20b the installer. The previous version of the installer had a bug that does not finish the install process in some consoles. This new version has this bug fixed. If you were able to install rev20 without problems you do not needed to install this new version.

and since ModMii doesn't use the installer, the rev20 cIOS wads and the "rev20b" cIOS wads are the same

Are we sure this is not a bug in modmii?

btw how do you even create hermes 222 base 57?
I don't see such an option in modmii...
With the advanced downloads (A), it's the 224 option in slot 222.
If you want, I can post this in the ModMii forum so they can check it out.

Doesn't matter, ModMii's name is forever tainted.

Joostin runs off to tell everyone that ModMii will cause their Wii to explode killing everyone except the people they hate.

Hi XFlak, I was having that problem and posted that in cfg. I builded cIOS222[57]-v5.wad from the advanced downloads section choosing the 224 option then slot 222 and all other options as default.
Maybe it's my setup - I've updated ModMii as always (when it prompts after the "I Agree" message, from within modmii)
I'll try with a clean install and report back.

edit: clean install on desktop and it worked! could i did something wrong when updating?

Could somebody please direct me to a full guide on how to get Mighty Channels working properly?

I got it loading off of USB, showing games, etc. But whenever I try to return to the wii menu it goes to Priiloader and tells me there was an autoboot error.

@Morien I've seen this error befor and all i did was use WiiMod to install whichever IOS that your system menu uses to run and enable all patches. You can use MultiModManager to do the same thing

. If this does not solve your issue then I'm sorry but this has never been the case from my experience.

I let modmii update too, so it must be related to updating.

edit: Ok i confirm too that a clean install of modmii signs the cios correctly:

so modmii update seems to break signing?

so the update process left the modules/d2x-beta.
I have tried this: if I add d2x v6 into modules/d2x-beta on a clean modmii install then the hermes is signed with d2x.
i guess that's a bug?
so when a d2x v7 alpha is added there it will also sign hermes cios with d2x?

Hi

I am attempting to salvage my Wii - was chipped, but now only my original games work. Something to do with version 4.3e

I am trying to follow the steps to get this right, but can only go as far as the following steps (see the screen print)

According to the tutorial video on Youtube, I should get an option to 'Verify all files folders' - Press A' - but I dont get that option, and none of the others seem to do anything

Any help would be appreciated - but keep it simple for me

Now you just exit modmii, copy the files from 'copy_to_sd' and 'cop_to_usb' (if it exists) to your sd card and usb drive respectively, and follow the guide in the text file that modmii generated for you (if you closed it, you should find it in the 'copy_to_sd' folder.

Ive tried on 3-4 ocassions but I cannot find 'COPY_TO_USB' folder/file anywhere.

Even though I requested it to be saved on the Desktop, its nowhere to be seen!

So frustrating

I seem to be messing up right at the start - confused about this 'USB' thing aswell

don't worry, it's entirely possible that you don't even have a 'copy_to_usb' folder. Just continue with your SD card.
