It doesn't seem clear cut. I've seen people banned that haven't touched their device in months.
So, you unlinked the nnid with the 3ds but after the unban, can I safe linking my nnid back?

Your thoughts are baseless. I'm reparing any art of consoles and extract those information from the broken consoles/motherboards before. I'm listing each user and mark them as used or unused.

Well, that is sad to hear and your opinion. But remember, back in the days where Xbox360 and Ps3 modding were a thing. People also sold their unbanned console information to those, who actually modded too much. There is nothing reprehensible about it. The users, who uses my files now are all cleared up about the risks. There is no need for any proof. Many people are desperate and are willing to accept those risks. You can also try to use the public seed but don't be upset if you get banned again.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
