Hacking Acekard 2i 1.4.4 Update Available Now

My chip ID is 0fc2 HW:8181 and my DSI XL wont update. I tried pressing the start button, but the update never starts
At the bottom of the screen is the message: "Update is canceled reboot DS." I used the update file for DSI XL, my acekard is NOT a clone, I've checked it already.
What should I do? Do I have to buy a new Acekard?

That update didn't work on my DSiXL either. I used the DSL version along with a DS Lite and the update went flawless. I would be willing to bet there will be more reports like yours because the DSi version of the update file doesn't always work.

So Must I update in a DSL?
The last update I did in my DSI XL, but this time didn't work, thank you by your advice I'll look for someone who has a DSL, (my DSL was stolen in 2010 xmas).
The hard part is find someone who has it yet

I had the same error, solved it by using AceKard's firmware (4.23) rather than AKAIO's to do the update.

you can also try using moonshell to run the update when you encounter this problem. worked for me.

So can moonshell run this update? , my DSI XL firmware is 1.4.3U, can I use a DSI/XL with a 1.4.2U version to update it? ok first I I'll try by moonshell, if it run I'll report it here.

New icon looks great, wouldn't mind myself if a future DSTwo update will change the icon to this, if it's possible.
That is if they need to, it's unlikely since they can get away with just updating the microSD contents on a DSi (not 3DS though)

They want to wait for a futur firmware for 3DS, but time passes and all shop cant sell Acekard 2i
to people who have a DSi in 1.4.4... So, some shop have written to acekard.com to help them...

shops by stock staring at 1,000 units. most of the smaller shops are forced to buy 5,000 units. do you really believe they ran out of that kind of stock during the two weeks we waited for an update?

in the past nintendo released the 3ds update a week or so after the dsi update. the first time it happened a bunch of dsi flash kits were blocked a week later, wasting 1 exploitable rom. acekard was one of the few companies who waited to release an update after that happened. it made sense that they waited again this time. it simply was the fact that a 3ds update did not come that compelled them to release the 1.4.4 update. i'm sure it was also some of the pressure from consumers. acekard has always supported the consumer first. they aren't going to be happy when consumers tell them that they are upset. consumers are your number one worth of mouth, and in a hobby such as this that is the best type of advertisement.

On-topic, it's nice to see this update, I would update, but my Acekard was fried a few weeks ago (still can't find out what caused it) and I need to get it replaced.

EDIT: Whoops! I couldn't wait so I just update anyway:

1) NDS XL (1.4.1U)
2) Updated A2i FW
3) Deep Labyrinth: Sword Icon
4) Games works! Splendid
5) Updated Nintendo FW to 1.4.4U
6) Uploaded one photo instantly to FB
7) Game still works on A2i

Although I'm not sure if it really fixes the FB issue but games and every thing works.

I don't know much about the Galaxy Eagle, but i doubt it.
