i have the updated boot.3dsx. The speed is still slow for me.
Maybe a problem with your ROM. Try downloading it from the hustler site.

N3DS XL on 9.9 / Tubehax

Seconding @ihaveamac , for now tried Pokemon Firered and Super Mario Advance 4.
Runs at full speed but sound crackles and game crashes within a few minutes. A couple times right after starting the game.

Not much else to say other than i'm eagerly waiting for updates because even now this leaves citrAGB to the dust.

If someone wants me to test a specific game, i'm here :)

I can't tell you that right now, you'll just need to try yourself. Or if you really want me to, I'll get it on my O3DS.
I'll try it myself then, no worries :)

Also, if this is better than Retroarch unofficial build, try running Pokemon Leafgreen with improved CPU optimization. There is an .ips patch for it in the Retroarch unofficial build threads.

This has a lot of potential. For an early Alpha, it works surprisingly well. very very unstable (games have crashed on me a lot) but it's promising. I have a New 3DS, running it via Ironhax...can't use CitrAGB and it's recompiler. It runs Final Fantasy Tactics Advance at a 'not impossible to play' framerate, and it ran Riviera, which CitrAGB seemed to choke on for some reason. It's too bad both of those crashed very early on. Not sure why...I tried Zero Mission as well, it worked OK, but crashed when I pressed the A button a whole bunch...at least it seemed like that was when it crashed.

The sound was iffy on all of them, but really, given the early state, that's to be expected.

I've tried a few roms on my 3DS XL(original). All of them ran VERY slowly. Th games were:
Super Mario Advance
Zelda: Link to the Past & Four Swords
F-Zero: Maximum Velocity
Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island
Tales of Phantasia
Pokemon Emerald
I didn't get to the gameplay for Emerald, Mario Advance, or Yoshi's Island. I didn't have the patience

I like this emulator already! Savestates are great, considering that this crashes every so often! Looking forward to no crashing and speedup. :P
