Is the file directory I provided wrong? I am switching from HANS to LayeredFS. Do I need to unpack the romfs file?
I only have 1 file, which is in romfs format. Its undubs for FE Fates SE.
If needed to unpack romfs file I would really appreciate it if you would kindly guide me on how to unpack it. I did not make this romfs file myself. Thank you very much

Probably won't be top priority, but there's been an issue since Luma 7.0.1 where I can't run SuMoCheatMenu.
Specifically when entering Festival Plaza and trying to connect online, the game crashes, error message on home menu informs of needing the console to restart. As it turns out, not just Festival Plaza is affected, basically any point where the game fades to black, such as when you call upon Charizard for a ride, fade to black transition to the map, same thing, crash. This wasn't a plugin issue, and Luma 7.0 runs alongside the plugin just fine, it's LayeredFS. When I removed those files (music replacement), the plugin worked just fine. Only PokeCalcNTR is unaffected by this, I can still run that in the latest Luma release with LayeredFS.

I recently have used PK3DS and other tools to extract and edit my RomFS files from my game. I have attempted to place the "romfs" file inside the correct folder in SD:/luma/titles/0004000000175E00 and nothing happened. I attempted yet again to fix this problem and pasted the uncompiled files inside the folder SD:/luma/titles/0004000000175E00/romfs and got a response. My game flashed past the "Nintendo 3DS" screen, waited for about 5 seconds, then I got the error stating,
"An error has occured, causing the software to close. The system will now restart."
Can anyone please provide me with an explanation on why this happened, and possibly any solution for the problems that I am having? I am trying to do a Randomizer Nuzlocke for Pokemon Moon. I HAVE gotten this and other files to work with HANS, so I believe that this may have something to do with the luma coding. I use the latest release, (7.04). Thanks!

If it really bothers you and expecting no action to be done in terms of removing the message, you could just get MultiUpdater, it not only updates Luma stable and commits, but also GodMode9. I stick with that currently.
Damn even GM9? Kinda strange i haven't heard of this before. Thanks. Shit was getting obnoxious and it doesn't seem to be stopping any time soon. Stupid drama crap on my dingdings.

Did like a lot of googling and while reading this thread I realize I can't extract pre-built romfs file. I need to download a 3ds/cia undubbed version of the game to re-extract the romfs files. Leaving this comment here in case anyone asks the same question, or have a better way to do this.

Yes you can. You just use RomFSExtractor.exe to extract it. You use RomFSBuilder.exe to rebuild it. If you followed the link on Asia81's tutorial I linked, you would have gotten that from his git.
I tried with RomFS Extractor, it says "Not a valid Romfs binary". It still works with HANS though, so pretty sure the file isn't broken.
Once you start paying Aurora for Luma or Palect's for the guide you can legitimately complain about anything you don't like.
I've been meaning to ask, when I tried playing pokemon moon with luma 6.6 (I know there was updates but this was about a week ago) anyway when I installed the game it would cause that reboot glitch that I've been hearing about with high memory games, but other high mem games work fine like smash and Monster hunter, so I'm a bit curious as to why I can't play it. a glitch maybe? [EDIT] am using Luma 6.6, 11.2, O3DS

Menuhax? If so, get A9LH. It solves all of your problems and is 3DS System Update friendly!
Menuhax for sysnand yes, but have been hesitant to installing A9LH because I heard it's hard to install?

Not hard at all. It takes some time on Stock firmware. IDK about menuhax though. It may take the same amount of time, maybe not.
