its the very first thing listed under "features" so you should've read it a bit more clearly.
Yeah... sorry about that. I admire your work by the way, when I went to hack my Wii U I couldn't believe how much of the old guard was still working on stuff.

Noob question here.. I have CHBC set up and I am using a 128GB SD card with RedNAND. I have quite a few games that I would like to install to my USB hard drive. I used two 128GB SD cards for these games when I was using Loadiine. Only one of the SD cards has RedNAND on it. I am trying to save time installing my games by being able to copy the re-packed/encrypted loadiine games to BOTH SD cards and be working on copying games to one SD card while installing ones that are ready to install to Wii U USB hard drive using the other

I am afraid to boot up the Wii U using the SD Card that does not have the RedNAND on it. So here is the question: Should I stick to using the single SD card for installing the games (That has RedNAND on it), or can I safely start up the Wii U with the other SD card and install games using WUP Installer y mod on SysNAND?

I originally set up RedNAND, CHBC, etc using this guide.. https://wiiu.guide/

Ok I decided to try it anyway! I made sure that all of the contents of the root of both SD cards was identical (with the exception of the "Install" folder that had the games in it) and was able to interrupt CHBC auto boot and load up homebrew launcher and start installing some games from SysNAND while I load up the SD card with RedNAND on it with othergames and updates.

At least that is what I assume I am doing.. haha.

This isn't a topic about redNAND, but I figure I should go OT and let you know that games that are installed while one NAND is active won't work in the other because their tickets are in the NAND, not on USB. (You might want to read the Mocha topic to learn about those kinds of issues.)

Are you sure? I just installed a number of games from SysNAND and I have been able to load them on RedNAND.

EDIT: I think I know why I have some games working on both.. I installed a bunch of games on RedNAND and then ended up accidentally deleting them when copying update and save Data from the NAND to my USB HDD. I didn't realize that would completely overwrite the game.. but not the tickets (which I still don't fully understand). When I reinstalled these games from SysNAND the tickets then existed on both of them and would let those games launch from either one. Weird.

Sorry for thread hijack. I recently realized that all of this great new stuff happened in the last few months and I could finally ditch Loadiine and Browserhax and get all my games running on USB. Just need to finish injecting my saves from loadiine and it'll be complete!

Can anyone share NAND files with me, please? I need to see if it can help me unbrick my Wii U...

I'm sorry to say that (don't get me wrong) but some people here on this topic seems to be more interested on criticising others, proving they are noobs or saying they can not read topics, than trying to help...

I'm trying hardware mod here and need files to try and work with... Would somebody PLEASE share nand files with me?

I thank again for any help I can get...

Ok so I'm having an issue where my hard drive isn't being read properly on boot. I get the following error "Please only connect or disconnect USB storage devices while the console is powered off." The system will then reboot and I'll continue this loop until I unplug the Wii U. Anyone know what's causing that?
So I had this issue and figured out how to fix it- in the brief moment you have where you're on the home menu before the error pops up, go to system settings, scroll over to the usb storage tab, open up the "move" option, select your external hard drive storage, and at that point or maybe the point before you choose that it'll show that it's getting the hard drive "ready" or something to that effect. Once I saw all my games on my external storage still I backed out to the home menu, and this time my games showed up and the error message didn't. I rebooted and problem is still solved.

Or unplug HDD and boot Wii U, then access System Settings & Plug back HDD.

Hello, y'all, I have a question here...
Currently I'm using CFW from CBHC, which installed my games via USB: both patch and the DLC.
But everytime that I try to play online it kept asking me to update even with my Wii U on version 551.
What should I do about that?

P.S. DLC and patch are alredy updated according to Usbhelper.
And just for more information I also configure another DNS from a tutorial that teaches you how to "avoid some unwanted update".
