There are some real jerks among us hackers who would make use of this cheat to play pranks and destroy towns
Too bad that fact hinders the rest of us who want to help people :(
You can still plant flowers and give out items using text2item + duplication ;) People are really grateful for flowers! :)

I'm exploring ACCF right now to see if there were building codes present in the game, because it used basically the same but updated engine as ACWW which spikes my interest

A weird mushroom pops out for a lot of unused items
But I've managed to find a invisible barrier. :unsure:

anywho, I'm going to make a real time acre editor (still read only memory while in other town, but I *THINK* if you change acre's in someone else's town say from a river to ground you can drop items where water is on the town owner's screen, meaning you can help your friend out by placing flowers in their river. However, this is untested and I'm going from a hypothesis from what could be done from ACCF.

Where'd you take that picture from? Also what does the Japanese text link to?

Ok guys, for the real time acre editor you will have to type XXYY where XX is the acre and YY is the acre value you want to type out. I'll make a map out later, but I still need to code it in :rofl:
And as for furniture injector, it's using the search and replace function to search for 0x20A7 (100 bell coin) and replace it with the item ID you type in.
Work will be done on these tomorrow, and I'll use this thread to post updates and when I push changes to Github

Once I figure out how to convert building seeder from spider to NTR https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-spider-leaftools-animal-crossing-new-leaf-spiderhax.383773/ doesn't look too hard but there's unexpected results from moving buildings. I was thinking maybe L to place (and dupe) R to move and if there are no bells on the ground then delete or something like that.

Unless you want a 'unlock all pwp' code then that's a easy code to make :P

This would actually be preferable for me. I'm not that big into heavy modifications (except for adding a slope to the beach where it makes sense), but for others that do want to spawn silliness into existence, let them have it. Though there is one place I wanna put a bridge where Isabelle won't let me because apparently things are too close, which I hate. That "needs x amount of spaces" limitation makes no sense in a lot of scenarios.

It's the same in ACNL with the default apple item :P

These limitations are used to avoid glitches with collision, the bridges especially are a problem when you put them where they arent supposed to be. :)

Bricked cartridges due to hackers using corrupted items as seeds and stuff like that. It can't happen in NL because there are no seeds (except trees and rocks), buildings are now same as PwP, not items.
And you can't edit other town PwP :P

all the reasons to have a hacked 3ds to reset/backup/edit saves

also weird... did WW autosave? in NL the town isnt saved unless one leaves or the host disconnects

None of the games autosaved, people bricked their carts due to them trusting the hacker to save or if someone left or entered the town which caused them to save.

The building placer sounds cool! Make sure you find a way to disable Moon Jump and Duplication if you use L and R!

Probs just have to use the disable cheat code that @Nanquitas uses

You must speak english on gbatemp

you have to dump your save if not already done(follow this : http://usuaris.tinet.cat/mark/acnl_editor/help.html)
then you open your save in a hexadecimal editor such as HxD
Find the map offset (can't help you for that but it's really not that hard, the structure looks like this : acre byte, 00, acre byte, 00, acre byte, 00, acre byte, 00 etc..)
then you put the islands acres, but make sure you have at least one "beach stair" or else it will crash

this should help you : http://www.filedropper.com/acresimg
it's a rar file that contains acre images and their value in hex (from B4 to CB)

once it's done, open your save here and check if the map looks alright : http://usuaris.tinet.cat/mark/acnl_editor/

Tu dois dump ta sauvegarde en suivant ce tutoriel: http://usuaris.tinet.cat/mark/acnl_editor/help.html

Ensuite tu l'ouvres dans un éditeur hexadécimal et tu cherches l'offset pour la map, je peux pas t'aider mais ça ressemble à ça : byte d'acre, 00, byte d'acre, 00, byte d'acre, 00... etc. Aide toi des images pour trouver ça dans ta sauvegarde, c'est pas compliqué.

Il faut que tu ailles absolument un escalier qui mène à une plage dans ta ville, sinon ça crash.

Ce fichier devrait t'aider, il contient les images des acres et leur valeur (byte), c'est ces byte que tu dois mettre dans ta suavegarde quand tu l'édites : http://www.filedropper.com/acresimg
Le byte est le nom de chaque image
Une fois que c'est fait, vérifie ici si tout est comme tu le souhaites sur ta suavegarde : http://usuaris.tinet.cat/mark/acnl_editor/
