The XOR pad is identical for all dumps? it's a per game key, not per-cartridge?
if it's per game then that's good, your patch will work with user dumps too.

yeah unless there is a revision of the game all carts should be identical, (except for the unique header that gateway injects into the rom during the dumping process)....but seeing as there is no online for this game you can simply remove it after dumping if it causes issues (but i doubt it would, not 100% sure on that though)......and the scene release already has no header inserted into it

Translation is done, graphics are done (according to first post project's status).
what's needed now is testing, 2 beta testers are playing and searching for any untranslated texts and bugs/word wrapping issues.

It`s only really been around a month since the last post from Nagato. I guarantee you it`s still alive. I`ve seen translation projects go months without saying anything and then pop up outta nowhere with a finished file. Hell, me and my friend were gonna get into translating last month and ended up doing jack shit cause he was going on a trip to japan. These kinda projects take time, especially when motivation wanes. Doubly so for a small team. That it`s gotten as far as it has in just 7 months is astounding.
