That’s a shame, I wish there was a tool to install WiiU injectors on Wii. Regardless it’s just minor bugs and I hope Fix94 could address them one day.
Extrems or emukidid would have to fix the bug. There is no telling when or if it gets fixed though.

Yeah Extrems already addressed the issue for Not64 and there is a possible fix. However it won’t happen anytime soon.

That’s a shame, I wish there was a way to install WiiU Donkey Kong 64 on Wii lol

basically what he said is he wont emulate the depth buffer in years if ever, and no its not better than official emulation since official emulator has no camera issues on wiiu :P

Better play it on a different device.

Yeah well I was unaware that Wii64 Rice uses Nintendo’s WiiU official injects to run. I thought it was independent. Donkey Kong 64 runs almost perfect on my Wii when using Wii64 Rice. It’s just the cutscenes being out of sync with the audio and the camera rotating to the right when moving forward. I thought it was a simple setting to adjust.

wii64 rice doesnt use wiiu stuff at all...

i think your confusing officially released VC titles on e shop wich donkey kong 64 is on wiiu with fan made emulators.

not64 is glide only, wii64 1.2 has a glide and a rice version, they are totally different things. you can use wii64 1.2 rice on a wii normally.

Yeah that’s what I thought, I guess I misunderstood. If that’s the case why am I having problems with the camera rotating when playing DK64? According to the compatibility list this game is supposed to run perfect.

on rice version i guess you are using the rice version or the glide version of wii64 1.2? also compatibility list is made by random people so it can be wrong.

I’m using Wii64 1.2 Rice on my Wii (Not WiiU). I use the following settings when playing DK64:

1. Nad set to ON
2. LimitsVIs= 1

Although the game almost runs good I get the following issues:

1. Camera rotates to the right when moving forward; making the character go a different direction. This happens when the camera is following the character from behind and the analog tilt forward.
2. Audio out of sync on cutscenes

well then compatibility list is wrong then.

Is the 1.2 new version compatible with the Wii U GamePad Classic Controller Emulation made by Fix94 months ago?

Emu kidid said on gc forever that there will be a more official release on the Wii64 github page coming at some point. Just wait and see, and drink a cup of tee!:toot:

Has anyone compiled wii64 last build on the github with gamepad vc injection support?

I'm talking about the Hires pack test build, the only one available at the moment.

Its great and all but not vc gamepad compatible.

Also sorry for posting about Wii64 here but it looks like that thread is buried.

Thank you for your help, but I don't think this fork build supports HD packs just yet.
However it does show better performance in some games so I'm keeping this one for now. Cheers!
I wish not64 would just get an update. I still can't play Super Mario Star Road at full speed or even at decent speed

    ewww key shops...
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Why do you really want to use key shops nowadays? You're not really paying towards the companies who provided the keys, plus its very sketchy.
  • linuxares @ linuxares:
https://gg.deals/game/bloodstained-ritual-of-the-night/ - I rather use the proper shops, but here are Key shops shown as well. They tell you the risks as well with each shop

  • linuxares @ linuxares:
One of the keyshops is 95% off at the moment (probably humble bundle keys)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
And a small percentage of keys bought with a stolen credit card.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
You never know if the key works or not, they don't provide a guarantee.
  • linuxares @ linuxares:
Sure is... and poor devs get hit with the charge backs

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Exactly.
  • linuxares @ linuxares:
Thor from "Pirate Software" said its just better to pirate the game than buy from a keyshop if you care about the devs

  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
devs don't get hit with the chargebacks, the keys are free to generate
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    at least on steam
  • linuxares @ linuxares:
Except he said the DEVS get hits with the chargeback cost
  • linuxares @ linuxares:
since the key gets bought with a stolen credit card
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
there's nothing to charge back because the keys don't cost them money to generate in the first place
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
If the game has a crack sure
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Most these crack sites have dead links anymore or the crack don't even work
  • linuxares @ linuxares:
@The Real Jdbye What don't you get? If someone use a stolen creditcard. Then sell said key on G2A. If I the dev sold the game key, I will get the charge back cost. That's how it works, it doesn't matter if I generate 300 keys if 300 of them are bought with stolen credit cards. I never said it was on Steam, but its the dev that gets hit. There is a ton of stories out there if you google it.
