That's exactly what it does. Looks nice and smooth.
region lock! When I try to run Super Metroid Legacy or Super Metroid Redesign on my EU SNES Mini, I get the following message from the system:
"This Game Pak is not designed for your SUPER FAMICOM or SUPER NES."
I'm guessing since both ROMs are NTSC, but my SNES Mini is the EU one, it refuses to run those because of a region lock? But that doesn't make sense since the SNES mini is supposed to be region free? What to do?
But the EU SNES uses the same US ROMs that come with the US SNES Mini. And other custom NTSC ROMs I tried worked.region lock!
the eu mini snes ist the same as the us only a other shell
I hope somebody can explain to me I last added games when the first stable realise came out. I want to add more games but a new version came out how should I go about doing this?
Yes I did but I did it with the old version and the web installer updates automatically would this cause any problemsYou'll need to flash the Snes with the dumped kernel, then flash it with custom, then sync the games. Hopefully you made a kernel backup.
Im struggling too new version just isnt working for me just hangs on the sync. The only thing I can think of is that I didnt do a factory reset or my games need re-installing before synching as I just copied the games folder overI hope somebody can explain to me I last added games when the first stable realise came out. Yup. That's it.So the only thing to add on the global commandline is " --no-scanlines " and nothing else?
Yup. That's it.

Edit. Not too concerned at the minute as Im back on 2.20.15 and everything is good
Ok just let me know once your able to used the new versionIm struggling too new version just isnt working for me just hangs on the sync. The only thing I can think of is that I didnt do a factory reset or my games need re-installing before synching as I just copied the games folder over

I believe you need to flash the original kernel back, then flash custom then sync with each subsequent version as a precaution. Don't quote me on that though.
Yea I did all that and it hung on the sync. Tried about 8 times, went back a version and everything was fine. I did try adding retroarch but cancelled it halfway through and I also copied over the 2.20.15 directory on windows rather than a fresh install.
Going to try a fresh instal with the web installer tomorrow and re-build my games and forget retroarch for now certain that will fix it
we are talking about the mini snes and not the mini nes! This must be the situation without saving, but each savestate creates a screenshot, so another 'image slot' is occupied and the total number of games without c8 errors decreases. In the nes mini the total limit in a folder, If I remember correctly, was about 244 images on the menu (covers, mini covers, screensaver images, save state's screenshots). On snes mini I don't know if it's the same

Who knows, one little can go wrong with the flash and you'd never know what it was.that was it thx -- have uninstalled all / kernel dump Flash / factory reset in snesc menü / custom kernel Flash/ gmaes on it / custom filter mod / --> works now
dunno what was wrong there
