OCDM - Mario Maker 3DS course manager

OCDM stands for Online Course Database Manager

Features*:
  • import and export courses, both** 3DS and WiiU
  • cryptofix saves (if the game marked your save as "corrupted")
    • Note: this will overwrite the LockoutID in your courses, not in the save file, so please be fair and don't reupload others' courses :)
  • make/apply save snapshots (exports all files which are used in the save)
    • Note: please format your save data before restoring your save otherwise the game could mark your save as "corrupted", and this one is not cryptofixable
  • browse SMMDB
    • download courses
    • discontinued

*: these features are in the latest build at the time of editing this post, so functionality in the public build could differ
**: due to differences in the 3DS and the WiiU version, importing a converted course file on a foreign platform could crash the game on loading the course

I noticed something weird, if there is a space character in the beginning of a level, OCDM can't import it, is it a bug, or is it intended?

what space character? and where is that "space character" exactly? is there an error code?

did you ever save a level before trying to use OCDM? you need to let the game create a valid save file before trying to use OCDM... also, that TitleID is already added to OCDM... do you have the game installed to SDCard?
Yes, and I used the older version of OCDM. It works.

Kinda like this, if a level is named " level" instead of this "level" (notice the space in the beginning), OCDM don't import it, and wait, I will check if there is an error code..

b-but older version can only export >_>
and new version works the same way as the old one does, so it's even more confusing
XD

I tried uninstalling the SMM game and installing again but it didn't work
ahh...
Do you have an old version of the download address? Please give me one!

nope, the old download URL should be already invalid, sorry

@MarcusD I guess I asked before, but, just to be sure, there can't be a bulk import option because of something that gets corrupted, right?

not yet; importing is still unstable, and I still need to figure out why importing a save data renders the save file corrupted

sorry, I'm catching up with stuff I have missed, I'll commit in a few minutes/an hour

I have a suspicion that the Chinese Mario Maker has a different TitleID and ExtDataID. can you please tell me those 2 numbers? the only way I can add support for it is if you tell me

Thank you.
I will be waiting^^

wait... is my problem common? is there no way to solve my problem?...I will try to install a hack version of the SMM

sadly it's the opposite; you're the first one for this problem to happen to :/
also, I realized I'm kinda stupid... you could just open the file on Github, click on "History", and select a commit you wanna go back to, and download that older version

yeah, it's not fully implemented yet, sorry :/

I just tried it and I get an error. ㅠ.ㅠ

I guess I'll try a bit more verbose now, hold on

EDIT: wait, are you using the 3dsx? cartridge support is only present in the cia version >_>

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.
