how do I even run the .firm file?If you mean Luma's, no, it's inside the Luma directory.
It's a FIRM payload, put it in there. You need Boot9Strap, ARM9LoaderHax won't work with the FIRM Linux launcher.how do I even run the .firm file?

If you don't have Boot9Strap, either install it --> https://3ds.guide/updating-to-boot9strap , or use the A9LH-compatible Linux loaderOMG I have been living under a rock >.<
I have the old a9lh (the one where we had to go to 9.2 before 2.1 and the install process was pretty long)If you don't have Boot9Strap, either install it --> https://3ds.guide/updating-to-boot9strap , or use the A9LH-compatible Linux loader
How exactly do I run the FIRM
No I mean how do I start it, I already have sighaxInstall Sighax.
Ah. Put it in the /luma/paylaods folder and launch it from the chainloaderNo I mean how do I start it, I already have sighax
Doesn't matter. Either update to B9S or use the ARM9 binary launcher.I have the old a9lh (the one where we had to go to 9.2 before 2.1 and the install process was pretty long)
is b9s the new a9lh?Doesn't matter. Either update to B9S or use the ARM9 binary launcher.
I'm installing b9s rn so idkGives me a black screen when I run the payload. I have the linux folder located at / and the firm payload at /luma/payloads. Any ideas?
How did you open .firm files with b9s again?
no I'm on luma 7.0.4, because everytime I want to update to 7.1, it says failed cause I didn't have arm9loaderhax.bin, but it's literally thereAssuming you're running Luma3DS 7.1, put the firm file at sdcard:/luma/payloads, hold start on boot, and select the firm payload you want to boot.
