I never opened up a26 to see the details on the arguments. And I haven't installed all your other recent files actually. I have the hakchi running perfectly on my mini..(with good choices for for emulators and system games).I am not picky with many cores. I know what works for me. My only question in my first post was if anybody knows how to incorporate better game genie scripts (.xml) and how to create them to work as a script and/or .ips file. I guess I'll stick to reading and educating myself..thanks for the answer tho...
When you figure this out please post a response in the link in my signature. Like to add this to the guide.

I was wrong it changed. Analog works in all directions for me. Dpad doesn't tho. So like you I am wondering how to enable dpad for 64.

My analog also *works*, but it treats the diagonal corners as if I am only slightly tilting in that direction (a walk). If I go straight Up, Down, Left or Right, it will treat it as fully tilting (a run) or slightly if I ease up a bit. Was hoping this could be fixed but I have yet to find the setting that can do this.

Is it possible for D_Skywalk to get desmune running for nintendo ds on the mini?

Seems reasonable to imagine, if we are already emulating PSX... However we will run into size limitations quickly.

Ok so as it stands i have a bunch of folders on my main menu, if i pick the pages, split games equally option under the folder settings will that make it so it shows the box arts instead of the folder icons?
I'm sure at the end of the 30 game limit i have selected there will be an icon to click to goto the next page?
Basically i want box art images instead of a bunch of folders showing the letters. ( i realize there is a 30 game limit per page )

If you split the games into folders you will see folder icons unless you change the icon using the custom folder option. You can increase the maximum number of games per a folder and try to come under that limit, but it has other issues if you go that route.

ok i guess i'm just confused because one of the options says
Pages, split games equally while the other says Folders, split games equally.
I guess it's a lack of info as to what does what under that menu. Upto now i've been just letting it do automatic.

I'm betting Folders have a back button, but Pages would have links to all of them without back button (how version 2.11 handled it). Although, I haven't confirmed this...

Ahh okay, automatic it is then lol. I'll just let the program handle it as i haven't had any problems thus far so i won't try to fix what's not broken. :D

If you have a reasonable number of ROMs (not these insane 1000+) the folders/subfolders route works real well. You can have nifty icons for each system and make it very clean. On my root menu I have a handful of favorite games and a few system folders.

I have about 548 nes games ( no other systems as i don't see the point i'd buy a raspberry pi for that lol ). I Just remember before 2.12 i had box art with a next page link at the end instead of all of these folder icons with letters on them. Was kinda hoping to get the box art to come back. It was more aesthetically pleasing to my eyes lol.

It did the box art for a next page in version 2.11? Its late, maybe I am not remembering something correctly...

I'm pretty sure it did, if i went to the end of the list ( which was all boxart instead of all the folders it is now ) it was a folder icon but i could click it. I think what i'm trying to convey is i have no box art whatsoever on my main page anymore. It's all folder icons. Where as i used to have box art with folder icons at the end.
I guess i'll just have to settle for the way it is now unless i can find a clear description of what each one of the options under the pages/folders section at the top of the hakchi2 program.

EDIT: Testing for yourself and what you want is the ultimate guide!
Honestly, all I really want is an answer to what the heck is causing my C4 errors! Its driving me nuts! I suspect it has to with the SNES2010 core and trying to create more than 30* or so save files in it doesn't let you make any more until you delete the old ones (regardless of folders or ROMs installed). Love it if someone could confirm this happens to them as well...

*I know my personal limitation is 18, but for many reasons I suspect the number isn't consistent, so if someone got past 18, I would be curious if they could get past 30...

Stella was in the pack from the very first release of my mod.
Actually, a26 is not the core's name. It's just the script that launches Stella ;)

My reply I guess got erased on my part..Yes in my post I finally opened up the a26 file..
shexec retroarch-clover stella "$@"

That file is fine for Atari..your other stella file for me didn't work. I have found in my testing from the very first new hakchi 2.12 , as long as you have the cloverapp.zip in the games folder, and add it as a game in the games lisitng, it shows up as retroarch in the games list and main game GUI. You can still add any core in the user_mods/retroarch.hmod /bin folder (original hakchi 2.12 and first retroarch.hmod folder) and direct it to in hakchi 2.12) / bin /path-to-your-app and it works. This is without adding Retroarch module everytime. Adding retroarch module everytime for me doesn't work for syncing and playing games. Takes you from the game back to black screen then main NES GUI. But thanks for your answer tho..

Yes, I am aware of that
The problem is, there's just not enough buttons on the NES controller to map Nestopia's "change disk side" function, and it looks like there no option to change sides automatically.
The default mapping is L to eject disk and R to change side disk side. You can use Wii Classic Controller (Pro) if you have one or you can change the mapping yourself in RetroArch options.

Can you use the stock mini emulator to run the fds games instead of using nestopia or fce? I imagine they should work as the famicom mini has fds games on it stock. Would this work just using it that way?

I have audio crackling with certain games when using snes9x2010. Anyone know how to address this? I think I give up with snes games. snes9x2005 gives me messed up sound fx and snes9x2010 gives me audio crackling.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.
