When you figure this out please post a response in the link in my signature. Like to add this to the guide.I never opened up a26 to see the details on the arguments. And I haven't installed all your other recent files actually. I have the hakchi running perfectly on my mini..(with good choices for for emulators and system games).I am not picky with many cores. I know what works for me. My only question in my first post was if anybody knows how to incorporate better game genie scripts (.xml) and how to create them to work as a script and/or .ips file. I guess I'll stick to reading and educating myself..thanks for the answer tho...

I was wrong it changed. Analog works in all directions for me. Dpad doesn't tho. So like you I am wondering how to enable dpad for 64.

If you split the games into folders you will see folder icons unless you change the icon using the custom folder option. You can increase the maximum number of games per a folder and try to come under that limit, but it has other issues if you go that route.Ok so as it stands i have a bunch of folders on my main menu, if i pick the pages, split games equally option under the folder settings will that make it so it shows the box arts instead of the folder icons?
I'm sure at the end of the 30 game limit i have selected there will be an icon to click to goto the next page?
Basically i want box art images instead of a bunch of folders showing the letters. ( i realize there is a 30 game limit per page )
I'm betting Folders have a back button, but Pages would have links to all of them without back button (how version 2.11 handled it). Although, I haven't confirmed this...ok i guess i'm just confused because one of the options says
Pages, split games equally while the other says Folders, split games equally.
I guess it's a lack of info as to what does what under that menu. Upto now i've been just letting it do automatic.
If you have a reasonable number of ROMs (not these insane 1000+) the folders/subfolders route works real well. You can have nifty icons for each system and make it very clean. On my root menu I have a handful of favorite games and a few system folders.Ahh okay, automatic it is then lol. I'll just let the program handle it as i haven't had any problems thus far so i won't try to fix what's not broken.
Like that? Correct or no?you can do it in clusters
It did the box art for a next page in version 2.11? Its late, maybe I am not remembering something correctly...I have about 548 nes games ( no other systems as i don't see the point i'd buy a raspberry pi for that lol ). I Just remember before 2.12 i had box art with a next page link at the end instead of all of these folder icons with letters on them. Was kinda hoping to get the box art to come back. It was more aesthetically pleasing to my eyes lol.
Honestly, all I really want is an answer to what the heck is causing my C4 errors! Its driving me nuts! I suspect it has to with the SNES2010 core and trying to create more than 30* or so save files in it doesn't let you make any more until you delete the old ones (regardless of folders or ROMs installed). Love it if someone could confirm this happens to them as well...EDIT: Testing for yourself and what you want is the ultimate guide!
Stella was in the pack from the very first release of my mod.
Actually, a26 is not the core's name. It's just the script that launches Stella
Yes, I am aware of that
The problem is, there's just not enough buttons on the NES controller to map Nestopia's "change disk side" function, and it looks like there no option to change sides automatically.
The default mapping is L to eject disk and R to change side disk side. You can use Wii Classic Controller (Pro) if you have one or you can change the mapping yourself in RetroArch options.
