Yup... that 3GB file, needs extracting, replacing and rebuilding and that 15 minute file transfer to sd card then 15 install on fbi :P

(Hope patching gets easier in future, i miss when my riivolution on wii smash bros used to work.) :ninja:

This is incredible guys, it must have been hell to pull it off.
Thank you so much!

From now, I would say 15-20h of work separated between me and Asia81 mainly (just for the crash fix, he spend several hours to find the file which was causing the crash).

But now I can finally enjoy the game without having to mute the voices.

Not now and not ever, you will have to go else where for that. :P
Actually, it's already compiled and packed in rar, just need to upload it.
I still have to find the USA clean dump, only my EUR release is ready...
No scene dump yet, and private CLEAN dump are not shared...
Maybe tommorow of Thursday (It's Tuesday 8.20pm now) for the upload.
But yes, links will be on usually places, as always.

I this a really good game? My dad used to play this in PS2.
Is up to you to decide, depends if you like this style of RPG, while i agree there is much harder games in this series, this one is easier but not easier than other rpg games. The ps2 game was fine, but i haven't really been a dragon quest fan, i played the ps2 game and dragon quest 9. but not much of the others, you maybe will be better off with the other side games like dragon warrior monsters where the main goal is to use monsters to fight, kinda like pokemon/digimon/monster rancher or whatever.

Just know that DRAGON QUEST is the founder of the POKET MONSTER Genre RPG. :creep: (By that i mean pokemon is based on dragon warrior)

Is the japanese dub so much better than the english one? I've play the game ages ago at the time it was released in the EU.
Is a matter of opinon. The English dub, seem to be based on very old english, accent and wording, using kinda of bad grammar on purpose to give characters personality for their speech, which is rather unique, kinda like Xenobloade Chronicles. So i dunno, i was gonna ask about what specifically did the english they were trying to emulate was based on.
