Honestly I just wish more fan translations actually completed what they set out to do. Like it or not they really can't compete against the larger localization groups

Have you ever considered that's because the larger localization groups get PAID to do what they're doing which is their main job in that respect, while fantranslations are done by fans in their spare time completely for free?
Nevertheless I consider some fan translations superior to what those groups do.

I know someone said they'd like to see "Golden Time - Vivid Memories" done. I love that anime (Golden Time) and from what I've tried that VN looks pretty damn good.

I had that happen once but I don't think it's the patch. I don't know what the issue is. It feels like maybe something is going wrong when uploading the data through FTP, but that's just a guess.

You should be able to reinstall the game and repatch. You could also try patching the VPK before installing (Rename vpk to zip, extract, place files were they belong, repack zip, rename to vpk, install) or find a pre-patched copy on the internet.

Anyway, back to IA/VT, awesome to see a release so quick game was already on my rhythm game list to play, need to finish up playing some other titles first though nice to know I won't have to stumble through some menus.

I honestly don't understand why you feel that the lyrics disturb you and are "ugly", especially considering you have to go out of your way to actually read the lyrics at the bottom corner.

When im playing rythm game i dont really have time to read the lyrics, there is no point in having the lyrics. But thx either way im sure some people will be happy about that part of the transaltion too. Also i checked the dump of the game and there no files or folders resembleming the ones that are in the patch, Did you modify the game files to read your translation or theyre there but packed and the game reads them even if theyre unpacked? BTW i didnt want to be rude I am really thankful for this patch since the game is difficult to play without japanese knowledge (u dont know which unlocks which, what to do when youre stuck, etc).

I already owned a copy of this game and had a save file for it. After installing the patch, the game no longer works with the save file. If I install, patch, and run without downloading the save from PS+ it works fine. Downloading the save causes error C0-11138-4 upon launch. Seems like the patch makes it incompatible with the save--any way around this?

Edit: Actually, nevermind. I tried the save with the ripped copy and it gave the same error. Bummer--looks like I'll be starting over, though I do wonder why the save causes this problem.

As far as the lyrics: I transliterated (romanized) all of them yesterday, so at the very least, that's what will be in my patch. The English translation idea would've been a separate patch because there's no way to make the game choose between different lyrics.

I'm working on the english lyrics and song titles of your patch, maybe i finish a partial ver tomorrow and give it to you.
Can I release it on this thread?
