@jlangford Is your application doing the "write(0x0105AE4, (0x70, 0x47), pid=0x1a)" thing, so it works with apps that disable wifi? If it does, that is the reason people can't use it in e.g. Pokémon. Without it, however, it will work when people DO go online in games like it, so add a checkbox so people can choose to do the write if they want to, unless you have a better idea :P

Didn't know that at the time since no mention of it in the OP...

I'm only asking since I think this is new, does this support O3DS? I know it would support N3DS but I'd like to know about O3DS.

Again sorry if this is a stupid question.

EDIT: Post above me answers this question.

Is there any possibility to stream and use online features? I bought the N3DS XL just for this task and right now I can choose if I want to stream or play online. Any ideas?

Okay guys, I will make this as a new answer, because I got a solution for Pokemon. Right now I'm online and looking for a fight, while I'm streaming. Picture for Proof:

What I did:

- Start NTR CFW
- Start Pokemon
- Start the Game and let everything connect
- Start the Debugger
- Start NITRO Stream
- Choose online connect and while it's connecting to the online port hit Nitro Stream Connect either. It looks like while the Game is connecting to the online services, the ports are open for a connect from NTRViewer.

I will try to make a youtube video of it, but it's working right now. I'm going to retry those steps, but maybe other people can try this out.

[Confirmed] When you are hitting the blue Connect button you can connect to the game via nitro stream.

I looked a bit more into it. All public people will be greyed out, but when your friends come online you can see them and trade, fight etc. Tested this with my girlfriend.

Hi all - as stated by Phil and Co. This is n3ds only!

The write memory button does exactly this. :)

@jlangford I'm not sure if this is a NTRViewer issue or a Nitro Screen one, but it seems that when trying to display with the touch screen zoomed in larger than the top screen, the window doesn't adjust to fit the larger second screen. i.e. This happens (spoilered for size):

As you can see, the same issue appears in both vertical and horizontal layout.

Are the scale values the same?

@Shadowfied No, this is with top screen scale = 1 and bottom screen scale = 2. Doing the reverse works absolutely fine, the viewer window fits any scaling for the top screen (with different scaling for the touch screen), but when you try to scale just the touch screen, the window only bothers to fit the top screen.

I see. Same happens with doing the commands manually in the NTRClient?

Anyway, unless you're using it as a viewer for yourself to actually use to play, I'd recommend just doing 1 1 scale and then adding two window captures in OBS then cropping them individually and scale them as you want, like I have done here for example.

RiiShop is the laziest way of downloading Wii games. Did somebody not think of this through?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced

@BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah you just need to put your NAND backup with wiimmfi on it
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
ngl i feel like if a bunch of my friends have wiis and know how to get wiimmfi and back up their NAND, then we could do a PMEX Remix tournament
