It loads the files, going to try to change stuff around with it...
Edit: it doesn't view global_parameter_menu.bin correctly. Just needs some offset adjustments for it to work...

I think I need help from you guys. A month ago I updated A9LH and by some odd reason it stopped loading DS cartridges and Smash. Just a couple days ago a friend of mine solved the DS cartridge problem, but now I can't use modded Smash. Vanilla Smash (with and without updates) works perfectly fine, but modded Smash crashes when loading. Does anyone know or had a similar problem? And if so, how did you solved it?
Try using this if you haven't. If you are, try backing up your save and deleting it (use jksv so you can backup everything). If that fails, try installing a cia of the game.
edit: delete the save in game with A+B+X+Y and restore everything after you reach the start screen

Any changes made with this just breaks the css screen more than using the 1.0 ui_character_db.bin :/ 1.0 at least lets you select random, this just leaves you with a blank css screen with the cpu in the middle.
Redid my Melee Falcon. It's now a lot better and more accurate. Falcon now has his Melee weight, fall speed, shorthop, and dash speed/velocity. Also, Link and Ike can now wall jump. That was a param_fighter thing. Try it out!
I do use smash selector and I do have codes enabled I also have downloaded the latest version of saltysd (according to smash selector)and I launch saltysd smash by pressing "A" and it loads vanilla smash bros

I found a code.bin from "that cia site" what does that do
Here are the .tex files for th etexture above! If you haven't guessed by the blue hair already it's supposed to be FLora from Fire Emblem Fates, can't wait to do more skins!
It didn't work out
only vanilla Smash works, modded Smash keeps crashing before loading the game (doesn't even get to the title screen)

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.+1 -

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1 -

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme -

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.
The issue is DRM -

You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
