Did you get the IP from FTBrony or did you get it from your Router? Mine is connected to a different router than my computer but FTBrony still erroneously shows my old IP address.

I've got my IP From FBI.cia and the CIA version of ftbrony

Well I would start from step 1 and try it all again. Double check your N3DS IP through your router just to be 100% sure, especially if you connect to hotspots. Make sure your PC and 3DS are connected to the same network and if you did the rest fine, there is no reason it shouldn't work unless your firewall is blocking the ports (3000-3001), (8000).

do you have ntr firmware.bin in your aurei folder?

you need to use the 10.2 firmware.bin instead of the 10.4 you can find those in the firm.zip that you can find on the aureinand git

they can only boost a little, you should get a wired one that you wire from the router to close whhere you play and then it creates wifi, but not a wifi that boost wifi.

Incredible, right?

I connected just my PC and 3DS to the WiFi Hotspot (Access Point on Android) and that's it.
Let's test Preview 2!

yes, I've been using it under Wine on OS X. so it should also be fine for Linux. you probably need mono if you can't get it working.
