Not a good explaination then. He doesn't want to sell the exploit to you nor any other user, so I don't see why you (or anyone else on here) should question if what he says is true or not.

The Gateway Team isn't registered on here nor it will register just to contact him, I don't see anything wrong with that.

i doubt anyone would really want to take part in a timeshare deal.......sell the exclusive right or basically nobody would want it they would just wait and take it for free

Who knows? He might be able to negotiate for a certain percent of the profits instead of a one-time fee.

But the thing is it's not mandatory for this community to know - he's looking to SELL. He doesn't need to prove to anyone that he's got the exploit - that will be taken care of with his purchasing party.

It's a good thing that I'm not a moderator cause I would have the ban trigger really easy when it comes to people not helping, being negative and just being douches ... unfortunately there seem to be a lot of those on GBATemp Look at the Nintendont thread and you'll see that FIX94 took a temporary break a couple of weeks ago because of people like that and I'm amazed that Smea still wants to release his exploit publicly. It's bad for the scene and no respected Devs or helpful people have that attitude.

tbh i think it was probably not the best idea coming to gbatemp for advice on these things, without proof its understandable many would doubt it true (even i dont really believe it)....but on the other hand coming into the thread just to say BS BS BS doesnt really help this thread would be 1 page if it was just plain simple advice without demand proofz and general "i think this is BS" posts,maybe its real maybe its not, point is he is wanting to sell to flashcard devs not users so theres nothing really for any of us to be convinced of


anyways he has his advice its just a shame if it is real that he had to go through 7 pages for the sake of like 5 helpful posts....and if its fake....well he got all the attention he wanted from people commenting on it

On my side, if this 6.X exploit is real, and goes to the right hands (linkers team or trusted devs) I hope your work goes useful needcash

Assumingthis isn't one massive flamebait thread, what gamesquest said is good advice, IF you do have an exploit, you should be absolutely sure it doesn't work on 7.x and higher, I'd sell my mother and my old 3ds XL for an exploited N3DS

If what OP says is true then there will be a completely new team that wants to bring out a completely new flashcard with just the extra feature of 6.2 support.

Sorry but that sounds too unbelievable for me. And additionally, GW, MT and R4i would have support for 6.2 in no time, leaving this new team with no reputation and no additional feature at all...

A lot of people would like to see it for curiosities' sake, but that would just cause more problems.
