Right, I've been reading the same comment over and over again in this thread. Why the flying macaroons do you people want proof of an exploit that he's not going to give you either way? Do you want to buy the exploit? No? What's the point then? He's not going to give you the exploit, he wants to give it to Gateway. This does not require him to give you guys any evidence at all - you're not the Gateway team.

You have this well-behaved guy which hasn't asked for donations nor wants internet fame, and what can you all do?

Start calling him a troll? Alright, we had many impersonators and trolls, but their modus operandi was quite different and pretty much every single one of them was in a "WORSHIP ME" mood. This guy isn't. He doesn't care, that much is obvious.

Now, only an handful of people posted some REAL advice in here, while the rest just kept jumping while pointing and screaming.

What I would like to see from this community would be people helping each other (we have some quite knowledgeable fellas in here) and actually answering a request for help instead of just accusing - if you can't help, you can at least wish him luck.

He's asking for contact information and general advice regarding a business deal, at no point did he want to sell the exploit to any of you, so asking for any evidence is out of line, unless you want to see some just because you're curious, in which case you're the ones who should be polite.

If you really want to talk about the technical side of the 3ds and I - can gain and learn something from it - I would love to do this by PM or mail.

Reecey: I began to idolize nocash's way of life in the past few weeks so that is were the name came from. I thought it would be funny. Honestly I did not think much about a username I will only use on one occasion in life. I did not realize it would be so important to you all.

Actually I did not want to post here anymore but so many of the latest messages were very nice so what the heck.

To give you a status update:

I sent a dumbed down version of my launcher without backup compatibility to the other team and they are very pleased with it.
Also I was contacted by the Gateway team in the meantime and I will shortly send them the launcher too. You can ask Gateway about that if you must.

The other team is not MT card (at least they told me that they have no relations to the other existing teams) but a different party which wants to take the yet "unconquered" (quote) 3ds market.
They don't mind if I tell you that and wanted me to share it to cause additional excitement. They also offered me a great way to do this whole business anonymously so I am settled with that now.

I will decide in the next few days which team will get the exploit and I guess you all can enjoy an announcement in the coming weeks soon.

just for the record, did you test it with a different entry point for 7,x+.....you should be certain before you sell it as if it did have 7.x+ compatibility it would be worth considerably more.....especially if it even worked on the new3ds

It's your's, so sell it to both of them and double your profits! (Just because you sold it to one party doesn't mean you can't sell it to the other party. You could sell it to however many people you wanted to)

....yeah but that would probably upset a few people.....i think its best he chooses a team and sticks to it.....sending a sample to 2 different teams before deciding wouldnt be a good idea, as now the team that doesnt pay has something to work with to get the exploit for free and potentially beat the person who paid to market.....in which case the people who paid would likely be pissed off and rightly so, he should of talked terms and prices before sending anyone anything

If he's smart he won't sell the rights to his exploit. He would only sell a license.

Assumingthis isn't one massive flamebait thread, what gamesquest said is good advice, IF you do have an exploit, you should be absolutely sure it doesn't work on 7.x and higher, I'd sell my mother and my old 3ds XL for an exploited N3DS

i doubt anyone would really want to take part in a timeshare deal.......sell the exclusive right or basically nobody would want it they would just wait and take it for free

If he already sent the modified launcher to the teams then they can just reverse engineer the launcher without paying OP a cent. Not really a smart thing to do, but good luck anyways.
