I'm not entirely sure what "index" means (still don't know anything about hex, I really should get on that...) but I edited Address 0x14030, part 3+ from 0A to 0B. If that doesn't help, I'm sorry for being too noob, haha. I'm just changing random numbers and seeing what happens, honestly.

A pic might help

and for reference, changing 2+ to 00 and 3+ to 0C gives you a headless trainer (in the overworld at least, it seems like you still have a head without hair on the trainer card, didn't test a battle)

EDIT: Changing 3+ to 09 got rid of the face on the trainer card (possibly battles) but in the overworld you have a really creepy white face... lol

Does anyone know where the heck the PSS icons are? I've seen that people have made themselves Pokecenters or presents and I want to make my icon a present.

On the Save File Structure page on the pp.org wiki it says PSS Outfit is at 1C538 which I've interpreted to be 0x1C538 (I could be wrong, hex really confuses me) but looking there in Cyber Gadget there's nothing but 0s in that entire row...

I don't even know if PSS Outfit IS the icon. Can anyone clarify? :(

wiki offsets are +0x5400 of what cyber save offsets are.

change your PSS Icon ingame and compare saves.

Well, if I just did my math correctly, that'd make it 0x17138 where it's at, and +8 is 00 no matter what icon I change my PSS icon to... nothing in that entire row changes, in fact.
If there was a way to copy/paste the entire dump of the file into something that could quickly compare saves I'm sure it'd be easier but I can't seem to copy/paste anything from Cyber Gadget's advanced mode at all, which is making this tough lol

I guess I have to wait for someone that actually knows what they're doing to figure it out first, haha. Thank you for responding though!

Great work! Much appreciated.
BTW, does anyone know the index for clothing? I would really like to give my character her nightdress costume :)

Use pkhex to save the "main"file to the desktop.
Then that file won't disappear after the gadget overwrites the savefile, allowing Hexeditors to analyze and compare the files.

lol.. well i thought it was mentioned, but heres the layout so far
0x14031 = hat/hair color
0x14032 = hairstyle/bangs
0x14033 = neck(?)/face
they are all u8(4 bit) values

after that is clothes.. and i think its u16 values
im only 90% sure of this data, so take it with a grain of salt.. and just experiment i guess, lol.

Okay, changed that second 8 to a 0 and that worked. Thank you! ^_^

EDIT: Hahaha I figured out how to get the weird ditto face. Now to rename my character Layton...

what really is cute is that the PSS even has a sprite for this expression... where is this face from?

Was this face supposed to be a beta or something?

you mean unlock all clothes?
well at 0x1A00 I believe it was you have to paste in this crap:

if you're a guy its this:
http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=MG4eRmmb

if girl its this:
http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=U1f6mBjd

(I'm not sure what most of it means, but i pulled this from a save i edited through poweraves, lol)

You do not want to paste all that in.

Only paste the first 0x5C bytes of that.

here's the bytes you want to paste in:

Guy: FE FF FF 7E FF FD FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF EF FF FF FF F9 FF FB FF F7 FF FF 0F 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 FE FF FF 7E FF FD FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF EF FF FF FF F9 FF FB FF F7 FF FF 0F 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

Girl: FE FF FF 7E FF FD FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF EF FF FF FF F9 FF FB FF F7 FF FF 0F 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 FE FF FF 7E FF FD FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF EF FF FF FF F9 FF FB FF F7 FF FF 0F 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

If pasted in, Rei's data will also overwrite your saved outfits and other misc clothing history, which is also stored in that section of the save.

Now, this might be a crazy theory, but hear me out on it: I think I know why that when the shirt is gone, that part of the body is invisible. I don't know, but I guess in the event that people who hack with tools like Cyber Gadget, they'd have a way to censor? Again, just a hypothesis. It's either that or Game Freak didn't make anything under the shirt.

Edit: Sorry about that... but I was just guessing. I didn't consider the idea of a clothes only model.
