Not sure as I run emulator games from their own channels and not through WiiFlow.
That's probably your problem right there, running the emulators through Wiiflow plugins like halen will be doing shouldn't have too much effect on a 4Tb. WiiXplorer on the other hand I'd avoid using...
Plus once you start grabbing a few PCE-CD, Sega CD, PS1 etc isos that sd card is looking like a bad idea anyway...;)

How i do I to load emulation games from SD ? My roms are in 4tb HDD and all of Wiiflow paths except Nand are in USB HD. The plugins are in USB 4tb. How i do to run the emulators from SD CARD and the roms in 4tb HDD?
  1. Put a wiiflow/plugins folder on the root of your SD card, obviously put the plugin you want to run your roms with in this folder and remove the plugin from the USB:/wiiflow/plugins folder, however DO NOT DELETE USB:/wiiflow/plugins root folder.
  2. Open wiiflow.ini in USB:/apps/wiiflow
  3. Edit: dir_plugins=usb1:/wiiflow/plugins → dir_plugins=SD:/wiiflow/plugins
  4. Launch Plugin with Source/Flow Menu or through the Plugin Menu
  5. Profit
  6. If it works go ahead and move the rest of your plugins to your SD:/wiiflow/plugins folder
I haven't done this myself, but it sounds about right. I run a few emu plugins off USB and the roms on SD, so doing it the opposite way like yourself should be possible I imagine. Let us know how it goes. If you use the Source/Flow Menu it might require another tweak to get it to work but I don't think so. Let us know how it goes for u.

Here's a 1072 mod that autoboots nintendont

source changes
gc.cpp
nin_cfg.h

please note that HID option on/off needs to be added to GC settings page 2
the above linked dol uses hid off
to use hid on add this gc.cpp file instead

Hopefully a dev or committer can update wiiflow soon to make life easier

Edit: this should work with games on sd or usb device
Don't thank me :)

Actually using a 2TB drive Western digital Elements, The strange thing is it never corrupts my sd just my hdd. It has happened on four different versions of wiixplorer, Pretty sure it is a bug in wiixplorer.

Running the emulators isn't the problem, it is when they try to save something (save state etc) when it blows up for me. That is the same under Wiiflow as a stand-alone channel.

Can you check if your drive has an advanced format and non-512 byte sectors?

using win7 and command line

X:\>wmic DISKDRIVE get bytespersector, caption

resulting:
BytesPerSector Caption
"512 Initio INIC-1610P USB Device"

If the first column next to the 2TB drive is not 512 bytes it has the newer advanced format.

All games? So Wii, GC & emulator plugins all freezing? Try a flash drive or different HDD and make sure it's not your drive. If that's not the fix then go back a few revs to see where your compatibility broke. You might also want to use a good defrag program. I recommend Defraggler it's fixed issues like that for me in the past.

Did you try:
A. Forcing cIOS 249 in startup settings?
B. Selecting different cIOS in game settings instead of "default"
if both solutions won't work for you then you will have to wait for the devs to fix the wii game loader, an sd log may help them a lot in this case.

Just tried a fresh install and it works now maybe i will force load ios 249 just for the hell of it. EDIT= found the real problem r1072 will not boot wii games for me when loaded from forwarders i tried the default one that comes in the installer and a few others known to work before and no go. I hope the next version works for me.

FIX94 T'sup bud I know you're super busy with Nintendon't lately and real life stuff but wanted to bring a cover breaking bug up in r1072 for plugins to your attention, whenever you can if you can check it out, it would be awesome.

Hard to explain w/o taking video but I'll do my best, I'll also post a vid up later when I have some more time. Basically when creating the cache for any plugin, the covers are completely warped and not displaying properly. When I check out the cache folder in "/wiiflow/cache/snes" in r1072 for example, it does create a cache file there but it also created several other sub-folders leading to an empty directory, I.E. /wiiflow/cache/snes/boxcovers/snes/...

This does not happen with 4.2.1, I haven't been able to test which rev exactly broke this, if anyone has some spare time that can test intermittently between r1058 -r1072 , it would be very much appreciated, if not it's no big deal I keep most of my compiles and I'll try to go back a few revs and see where it broke.

I was setting up a friends Wii with some plugins from scratch and that's how I find out about this, the cache and covers for the Wii games were created with no problem and all games still launch and play with joy lol. So far all plugins I've tried SNES-Next, GenplusGX, VBA-Next NESTopia have this issue.

EDIT: By the way my covers are in JPEG format not PNG, that might matter.

I've narrowed down a few culprits going by the changelog to jpeg stuff
Code:
r1068 -added back some missing cover converting code for jpegs

r1063 -switched from libjpeg to the turbojpeg wrapper from libjpeg-turbo to simplify the whole jpeg decoding code by alot

r1060 -optimized THP file playback and JPG extraction alot, it should now work fine with 640x480 30fps without any crash or freeze anymore
again this is all speculation, I don't know jack when it comes to coding, but it might help narrow down the bug if anyone has some time to test and don't want to go back revs 1-by-1.
